The unique aspect of this chalet style mountain home is its beautiful serene and scenic location.
The choice is yours whether you prefer to simply relax without a care in the natural quietude under the Continental Divide of the Rocky Mountains, or engage in the numerous mountain activities at your doorstep. The right combination of both is waiting for you.

While the city of Boulder is accessible in twenty minutes for the normal amenities such as dining, theater, music, sightseeing, and shopping, - - - the town of Nederland is only ten minutes away for satisfying basic needs. (By the way, the route that Mapquest usually designates for you is actually twice as long as the local route.) Directions for the local route are included in the Registration materials you will receive.
Ski resorts are within ten to ninety minutes away. Mountain Lakes, fishing, hunting and camping are just minutes away. Be it summer or winter activities, this site offers it all.

I believe that the new way vrbo has chosen to list rates is not very clear so upon your request I will be happy to provide a complete rental information table with the rates and methods of payment I charge by the number of people and the number of days.
A Colorado native, I've lived in all parts of the state. I know what I love about Colorado and I spent years searching for the location that has it all. Well, when I found this home, I spent one hour without saying a word looking it over, then when the owner said 'What do you think?', I said 'Sold.' And I've been sold on it ever since. I actually get excited with the thought of vacation renters enjoying my place. (No, I do not stay here when it is rented to you.) I love sharing the specialness of my home. Everything special about Colorado is within immediate reach from this location. The dramatic and rugged wilderness of the Continental Divide, to the cultured sophisticated amenities of the City of Boulder. Anything you're in the mood for is only minutes away.
As I said in my profile, I bought this home because in itself and in its surroundings, it constitutes the best of Colorado. This is my home and not merely a 'rental', but of course I do not stay here when I rent it out to you..
In the summer I love the balmy gentle warm breezes so much that I never want to go to bed.
In the winter the snow is beautiful and the elk herd that surrounds the house is a real treat to see.
Cross Country skiing and Snow-shoe hiking can be done out of the house on National Forest Land where there are old mining and logging roads which provide a good path for these activities. The caretaker, Spencer, is a professional fly fisherman and can advise you and/or book you for guided fly fishing.
