CHARMING 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT IN THE CITY CENTER OF PORT MOODY

My wife and I stayed in Avalon Guest Suite for twelve days and during this time it became a true home from home. It is warm, comfortable, spacious, well equiped, spotlessly clean and exceeded all our expectations. The location is the ideal base to embrace all the BC lower mainlands have to offer. Port Moody is an adorable town that offers peace and tranquillity alongside great shopping, restaurants and nightlife depending on your preference. Downtown Vancouver is only half an hour down the road. Monica and Yeurgan, the suites owners are a revelation, they are polite, accommodating, approachable, friendly and helpful, and whilst they respected our privacy, they were always on hand to cater for any needs we may have had during our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this lovely couple and their beautiful suite to anyone lucky enough to have vacation dates they are able to accommodate. You'll not be sorry you took heed of this review.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful apartment in June 2011. The owner's, Monika and Jurgen have created a beautiful, spacious, comfortable and very clean apartment with all of the amenities you would ever need, including a private patio with a BBQ! Having our own kitchen was great as we were able to enjoy breakfasts, tea and coffee, etc. there whenever we wanted to.
It was so nice to have such a great place to come "home" to at the end of each day and wake up in every morning.

The location was perfect, as we have family in Port Moody and New Westminster and it was very easy to travel between the two areas. It is also within walking distance to Newport Village which has bakeries, restaurants, cafe's, markets and many little shops.

We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this property and we will definitely look them up the next time we visit the area. Thank you Monika and Jurgen for helping make our visit terrific!

The accomodations were even better than the description of the location. It is exceptionally clean and the owners have been attentive to such little details, as placing books, dvds, and travel guides that the guests can use. It really feels like home. There is even a beautiful little garden in the back yard. You might even see a bear or a deer.
The owners are excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful.
We would recommend this property very highly.
We enjoyed our walks close to their home and going to Newport Village, where we could sit on a terrace and also shop at an outdoor market. Very conveniently located. Close to main attractions in Vancouver and in proximity of the airport.
