ELEVATOR FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS!!!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home!! The house was set up perfectly for my parents and niece and nephew to be on the 1st floor, while my husband and I enjoyed our privacy on the 2nd floor. We were pleased that the furnishings were so comfortable and modern. My parents were involved in a car accident right before we left for vacation, so the elevator was such a blessing. It was also very convenient for getting groceries straight to the kitchen. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and I was able to prepare gourmet meals all week long. The ocean view was just spectacular and we spotted a few dolphins during our stay. The best part is that we got to bring our 4- legged "baby" and didn't have to compromise on our standard of accommodations. I always come on vacation prepared to clean things to my standards, but was pleasantly surprised that the home was very clean. Booking this property was a breeze and we even stayed a day longer than planned with one call to the booking agent. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you soo much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.
The house and location were perfect. The house was very well maintained on a quiet road and the layout was great for a pet and for children. The balconies were wonderful to relax and have coffee and just enjoy the sunrise and wonderful ocean breeze. The location is in close proximity to the public beach access and multiple restaurants (highly recommend Uncle Vinny's, Ocean Grill, Jack Mackerel in Kure Beach to name a few. Also check out the aquarium at Fort Fischer. This was my families first trip to Carolina Beach and it was a wonderful experience. Thanks for allowing us to come and for working with us on timing.
We enjoyed ten days in April at this house with my son and his twin 4 year olds and his wife's parents. It was a wonderful, relaxing time. The beautiful sand beach is only a short walk from the house and we enjoyed a couple of meals at the Ocean Grill nearby. The kitchen was roomy enough for three women to make family meals, the elevator was a big help loading and unloading all the gear and there were games of dominoes and cards in the evening. Trips to the nearby aquarium and a ferry ride to Southport kept us busy on the two days when it was too chilly to go to the beach. We enjoyed the Farmer's market in the town park and went to the boardwalk on Saturday for fresh donuts and a family photo at the Carolina Moon bench. The owner and rental agency were a big help providing information about the area and things to do before we went and directions. It truly was an enjoyable vacation for three generations.
We rented in August and were so pleased with this property. The house is the last on a dead end street so there was plenty of privacy. It was a short walk to the beach. The wagon in the utility room was great to haul our chairs and umbrellas. We were also pleased with the close proximity to the tiki bar. It was open every night until 10:30 and we could just walk home. Our teenage daughters went to the aquarium, the beach and jet skied on the river. We loved the elevator, as it made our unpacking and packing much easier. We found it to be a bonus when we were able to see the ocean from the third level deck. We enjoyed eating on the pier at the Oceanic and drinks on the patio at Harbor Masters overlooking the river. We took the Fort Fisher ferry over to Southport. Didn't find too much to do there but we did have a nice lunch at the Fishy Fishy Cafe. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return next year.
