Located just above the Mission in the Upper East Side and within walking distance of downtown. The famous El Encanto hotel is a short 5 min walk. This is single-level garden condo with recent Spanish Colonial Revival remodel, arches, Spanish tiled floors, adobe textured walls and iron fixtures.. .very nice and very quiet.
Everything is nearly new, including the naturally lit fully equipped gourmet kitchen and bathroom with high-end materials and appliances. Available from May 15 to Dec 31. (ck. calendar) for $3375 per month with a 31 day min. Less than 2 mo. stay from July thru Sept may be additional cost...check with owner. There is a $1500-$2500 security deposit. Utilities, Cable/internet and bi-weekly cleaning are included. Will consider a small mature, low impact dog.

We live in Washington state for most of the year and have always loved to come to Santa Barbara in the winter. Every year when we came to SB we scout for a permanent winter retreat of our own. Being property managers in WA and deeply involved in real estate and owning other vacation properties makes us pretty select in what we wanted in SB. After many years this unit was located and we knew immediately it was for us. A single level, quiet unit with a private garden patio is rare indeed for SB. We did a total extensive remodel including all new appliances, furniture and supplies to make this a perfect oasis for us as we are sure it will be for you.

Besides being in the best part of Santa Barbara and being so close to everything, we enjoy the well kept grounds, homogenous architecture, and it's so quiet and peaceful. It's really like having your own house since the only connection to a neighbor is at the garage wall...you don't hear any one. Our special place is the private patio. We eat our meals out there, weather permitting...which is the majority of the time. This oasis is truly a get-a-way for us.

We leave in one week and have spent much of these past few weeks trying to find the right place for next winter. Honestly, your place came out on top of our list. So do let us know if you decide to go elsewhere one winter and would appreciate having us as your tenants. We would enjoy it very much.
Truly, your link on VRBO is excellent in all ways. You have wonderful photos, accurate descriptions of your area and proximity to town as well as a very concise and compelling description of your remodeled home. Perhaps you could add that it was remodeled entirely in X year with all the latest appliances. Many people know that property as one of the older communities, so your upgrades are certainly worth noting. Also, the fact that you include utilities and bi-weekly cleaning are a real bonus.
We have looked at a LOT of places so I mean it when I say that you and Denise have created quite the perfect vacation rental. You are wise to have tenants who are interested in longer term rentals. The short term rentals feel abused, and I think they are by people who move in and out over a weekend, often coming to SB to party.
We will definitely recommend your place to friends who come in the summer, although most of our friends also stick around MT during those months.
