Apartment description - 3 double-bedroom newly renovated apartment with 3 full bathrooms. One en-suite bathroom in master bedroom with sink, bathtub, toilet. Second bathroom with sink, shower, toilet. Third bathroom with sink, bathtub, toilet. Please note one of the bedrooms has a small loft with a bed in it and steep stairs to reach it (see pic). 2nd and 3rd bathrooms have a door to 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, respectively, plus another door each to hallway.
Complete kitchen including oven, microwave oven and full-size refrigerator. Master bedroom with two 140x200cm beds. 2nd bedroom have two single beds (80x190cm). 3rd bedroom has two single beds, (90x200cm), one of them in the loft.
Two three-seater leather sofas in living room. 40" flat screen in living room with "home cinema" dolby 5.1 sound system. 32" flat screen in master bedroom. There are a few Satellite stations: You can watch CNN International, in English, plus three BBC channels. There is a big safe in the master bedroom. There is a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.
For maximum comfort this apartment has central air-conditioning, with vents in all of the bedrooms, and in the living and dining room.
The apartment has a balcony with seating and there is also access to the furnished roof terrace, with monument views.
Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.
Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi.
Management - We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 16 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas and 8 holiday apartments in Istanbul. We apply our same high standards in every country.
Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) noise in the living area. The bedrooms have no traffic noise.
Occupancy - The apartment is ideally suited for 6 people. It can sleep up to 9.
Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:30 for occupancy. You can drop your bags and get your keys from 12:00 (noon). Check-out time is 11:30am. You can request reserved early check-in or late check-out for a small fee, subject to availability. There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in. We have our office in the building next door.
Reservations - We conduct reservations by email, that way there is a written record of all communications and much less room for error. We do not take reservations or payments by phone.

The apartment was exactly as advertised and was very well appointed and located. The managers made the transaction the easiest I've ever experienced. The two small bedrooms are extremely small, making it better for a family or a couple, but not two or three couples.
We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and had a great time. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and very convenient. The subway is close by as well as a very nice fresh market which we loved. The roof top terrace made for a few beautiful, sunny lunch and breakfasts. The stairs to the loft in the third bedroom are tricky (small and not very deep) so keep that in mind for whoever might be staying in the loft.
My family of 6 loved this apartment. We've stayed in apartments all over Europe and California, and thought this was one of the best we've had. 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms--so lots of space for personal needs. A beautiful kitchen/dining room/living room, with a fully outfitted kitchen, large table that seated 6, and two large leather couches for lounging. But the best part was the view, out to the church across the street that looked like a mini-Sagrada Familia. The owners were prompt in their helpful email replies to all my questions, and welcomed us when we arrived. The place was quiet and in a great location, on a lovely street in Eixample. The beds were comfortable, and the place had plenty of towels, extra blankets, and an easy to use heating system. We also loved the high ceilings and mosaic floors--beautiful!
I took this trip with my stepmother and cousin. We vary in ages (45-70) and had an incredibly comfortable stay here. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment was perfectly located. The property managers and assistants were extremely helpful and prompt. The directions for getting access to the property were superb. It went off without a hitch. When we had one issue (we locked ourselves out of the safe), there was someone to help within 5 minutes of calling. It was fantastic.
We loved the flat. It is large, has everything and is ideally located to subway.

My family loved the apartment. Its layout was perfect for our size group (2 adults, 3 teens, plus 2 more adults for part of the time.) Such historic, charming apartment buildings aren't as common in the U.S., so we loved the tiled floors, the interior ventilation windows, and the balcony overlooking a beautiful street scene - the photos can be believed! The apartment was in great shape and was well-equipped, with everything we needed for our 6 day stay. The owners and their representative were so easy to work with, answering all my questions prior to our arrival, and also giving us a good introduction on the morning we arrived. The neighborhood was wonderful, with lots of restaurants and markets within a five minute walk any direction, yet we felt we were truly in a local neighborhood, rather than a tourist zone (and consequently, much safer, too.) It was a quick walk to the metro, and taxis were easy to get, too, right in front of the building.
