Part of Sequoia Resort - this house is a spacious home with cozy furnishings and a deck overlooking the property and mountain view.

• The open-plan house has a Full Kitchen

o Four burner gas stove, full size refrigerator, glassware, flatware, plates, ceramic platters, etc. are all provided

o Kitchen has all cooking utensils, but bring your own special pans for your must-have dishes. We recommend you bring groceries. The nearest supermarkets 40 minutes away!

o Toaster, Coffeemaker, Microwave

• The large open-plan kitchen/dining/living area is well sized for family gatherings and great for entertaining, dinner parties, and slumber parties. TV/DVD, Games

• Laundry room with washer/dryer

• Phone & Internet available in house (optional) for daily rates.

The 370-acre foothill property is yours during your stay to explore on roads and paths, great for strolling, hiking, and biking. Launch a row boat in the 2 acre pond (fondly called the lake) or catch stocked fish. The brave can take a swim and afterwards lounge on the lake-side deck. Enjoy the barbeque as well as the fire-pit (equipped with roasting sticks for family marshmallow time.) There's even an old airstrip to practice hitting some golf balls! Each house also has its own propane BBQ grill on private deck during summer season.

The town of Badger is a small settlement in the Sierra Nevada foothills at about 3000' elevation. The vision is to develop the property to a small green and environmentally friendly community with zero carbon footprint, solar photovoltaic energy, its own wells and water resources. Be an adventurer and explore the wonders of this place. Mature oak and pine trees adorn the landscape - beautiful in all seasons from the wildflowers of spring and warm summer months, to the crisp autumn and the cozy winter months.

Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park is a year-round wonder! See the giant Sequoia trees and experience Kings Canyon - it's like Yosemite without the crowds! Climb Morro Rock and hike into the high country. It's a vacation you'll never forget. Dine at Pinehurst Lodge, Mountain House (known as a biker hangout) or visit Sierra Glenn restaurant.

Very tranquil environment. The house was spacious with lots of natural sunlight, clean, and comfortable. Great for get togethers, reunions, families. It's conveniently located close to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Came here for a group of friends for the weekend and had a fantastic time visiting Sequoia National Park and hanging out by the lake. It's a nice place to get away from the city and to enjoy nature. The views were absolutely gorgeous and the houses were clean and nice. Would definitely recommend

Had a great weekend stay here in April 2013! The weather was gorgeous, and the giant sequoias were easily accessible nearby! The property itself is great - the accommodations are nice and the gas BBQs make it easy to cook out and relax. We also enjoyed some time by the lake, again grilling food and enjoying some bocce ball. Great place for a nature getaway! Get place for pets too -- dogs love to run around!

Make sure to bring food with though -- local stores have sparse selection!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
