My family stayed a week at this property. My family consisted of myself, my husband, our 4 year old daughter, my parents, one sister, and one sister and her husband. Let me start off saying that once we reserved the house and gave our deposit it was very hard to get a hold of the owner, Ola. We even had to get vrbo involved. I even had back up plans for this trip, that's how unsure I was of this place. With that being said, everything worked out fine. The bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs were very clean and updated. I live on the west coast and not used to basements. My sister slept down there and no complaints but I know I would have had a problem. Every time we came into the house we smelled a sewage/cat pee like smell. Luckily I couldn't smell it upstairs and luckily we were out sightseeing all day. The bath towel situation was good. I forgot my hair dryer and they didn't have one in the house, bummer. The master bed was very comfy and soft. I love the little room off the master, I used it as a closet/dressing room. They have box fans in all the closets to use and I loved that. Be advised, all wood floors are a little noisy and you can hear the creeking when people go up and down. There was enough seating for us all when we pulled a couple chairs from the dining room, but once again we didn't spend a lot of time there hanging out. There were no hot pads or kitchen cloths so when I was cooking I had to use bathroom towels. The washer and dryer are small and the dryer barely dried so we used the dryer in the basement. When it was time to take out the trash the outside trash cans were no where to be found. We couldn't get a hold of Ola so we called the other phone number which was the housekeeper. Apparently the other neighbors use it so we just put it in that neighbors can. The neighborhood is very quiet. We had a rental car and never had a problem finding on street parking. The walk to the metro was .7 mile or about 15 minute walk through a nice neighborhood. We only traveled during the day and the people were friendly and greeted us. Our trip was great and the house is in a good neighborhood and you can't beat the price.
