2 bedrooms plus loft with 2 twins, 1 full bathroom, 1 outdoor shower, sleeps 6

We finished a complete remodel of the entire inside of this property in October 2009. The house is tastefully decorated with ample space for 6 people. The kitchen and living room are adjoined for easy entertaining. The master bedroom has it's own entrance which goes out to the back yard and outdoor shower. It is about 950 sq. ft. situated on a 1/3 acre lot on Vineyard Haven Rd. The yard is partially fenced with nice landscaping. There is a back porch with 2 chairs to relax on, a brick patio, and an outdoor shower. We have a hammock in the back for anyone in need of an afternoon nap after a day at the beach. There is also a sand area with 4 chairs and a fire pit! The location of the property is on the bike path and bus route. There is a small beach/boat launch about 2 blocks away. It's a great spot for bird watching, clamming or just relaxing in the sun! There are great restaurants about a mile down the street; Sharky's, The Grill on Main, and Atria!

We are about 2 blocks away from Sengekontacket Pond (salt water pond). There is a small beach there as well as a boat launch. We are about 1 mile away from Stop & Shop and restaurants. The location is right on the bike path and downtown Edgartown is about 3 miles away. We are also in close proximity to Felix Neck Audobon where there are some beautiful hiking trails through the woods as well as along the beach (less than a mile). There is also Island Alpaca up the road which is a fun spot for kids. The State beach is about 2 miles away and South Beach is about 4 miles away.

This is a fantastic little getaway at a great price. The house is recently renovated, with a modern kitchen and living area, and comfortably sleeps 6 - nicely done master bedroom and second bedroom and a loft that would be great for kids. The backyard is huge and has everything you could want for relaxing and lounging -- deck chairs, a patio table, a hammock and fire pit. The location is accessible to most of the Vineyard, but definitely not walkable (10 minute drive to beach, 15 to ferry, 5 mins to downtown Edgartown) so plan on car, bike or public transportation.
Finally, the owner was extremely friendly, accommodating, and responsive - even left bikes for us to use and a bottle of wine to welcome us!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

We stayed her beginning of June and had an incredible time. Gina, the owner was so accomodating. This place is amazing. Its the cutest place to stay. The rooms are nice, adorable kitchen and back room. And we loved the yard.The kids had fun playing in the play area while I relaxed and enjoyed the hammock. We can't wait to go back next year. A++++++++++++++++++++++++. Thank you Gina for a much needed wonderful vacation. This place is amazing.
