This 'Example' flat of 220 sqm is an in historic Modernisme building. It is fully equipped and with modern standard. The furnishing is a mixture of design classics and art. All rooms have been decorated individually by ourselves. We paid a lot attention to that our guests feel at home. If you are looking for comfort, privacy and space, we are just the right place for you. The flat is on the 2nd floor with a new elevator. There is a doorman service in the building.

The flat is located in the best area of Barcelona, the Ramblas de Catalunya. This street is the heart of the biggest Modernismo (Spanish Art Nouveau) quarter of Europe. Right next to the flat you can find the Paseo de Gracia with its world famous builings of Architect Antonio Gaudi. Around you will find the most traditional and the most trendy restaurants, bars and shops. Even though the flat is right in the centre of it all, it is very quiet and you will have a beautiful view to a park.

Barcelona, the city at the sea: Since the 92 Olympics Barcelona has developed to an international City with a huge variety of Culture, Entertaining and Sight-seeing. For sure, there is something unforgettable to see for everybody.

The region: We recommend: Montserrat, a monastir placed in a surrealistic mountain-panorama, 1 h with train. Sitges, a beautiful beach-resort, 30 min. with train. Sant Sadurni, the town of Cavas, the Spanish Champagne, 40 km by car. Figueres and Cadaques, all about Salvador Dali.

Ski: International Ski-Resort: Spanish Pyrenees. From November till April Skiing possible. You can get there by train in 2 h.

Golf: There are several Golf-courses around Barcelona for all kind of levels. We would love to help you by organising a tour.

Werry nice flat in centre of the town.All we needed in the flat.We was a group of 10 adults and evrybody was happy with evrything, and the owner was verry helpful.

This property is in the heart of Eixample area, in a residential block, and if you know Barcelona this means it is safe and very quiet. There are open-air bars in the centre of the street outside which means you can get a quick drink when you arrive back at the apartment, but they aren't noisy at night. There is the option of a number of Metro stations close by - Provenca, Diagonal, and Passeig Gracia - which give you the option of getting to different areas of Barcelona very easily. There is no need for a car - the Metro system is excellent. We were a mixed party of teenagers/ young people, and their parents and this apartment gave us the option of being together or apart as we wished.
If I was to find fault, air conditioning would be a bonus, although once we got acclimatised it wasn't a problem. (We are from the North East of England.) However, having stayed in Barcelona a number of times, I would rather stay in an apartment which was quiet than one which was cold. I would definitely stay in this apartment again. If you go - enjoy - I'm jealous..

Die wunderschöne große Wohnung entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Sehr schöne große Räume, gut ausgestattete Bäder, Betten mit guten Matratzen,Küche mit allem was das "Hausfrauenherz"begehrt.
Da die Wohnung sehr zentral gelegen ist,sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bzw. Metrostationen o. Bushaltestellen in kürzester Zeit zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir wurden sehr nett durch den Vermieter empfangen u. betreut.Alles in Allem ein toller Auftenthalt!

Altstadt-Wohnung mitten im pulsierenden Barcelona

Einmalige, riesige Altstadt-Wohnung mitten im pulsierenden Barcelona. Nur wenige Gehminuten zum Placa Catalunya und zur Metro. Grosszügige Küche, 3 Badezimmer, ruhige Lage nur gegen Hof und auch nur wenn die Klimaanlagen nicht laufen (also in der Nacht). Tagsüber Kompressoren-Geräusche. Wir erlebten eine ganz heisse Zeit und so wäre eine Klimaanlage ein toller Luxus, vor allem in der Nacht, um gut schlafen zu können. Sehr netter Vermieter, Reinigung mitten in der Mietzeit, etc. Also ein guter Tipp! Nicht ganz günstig, aber wenn zwei Familien die Kosten teilen können, absolut faires Angebot.
Owner's Response: Bez. Kompressor-Geräusch. Gegen die Klimaanlage des Ladenlokals unter uns gehen wir seit einiger Zeit vor, die spanische Legislative sagt: sie muss verschwinden, die spanische Executive sagt: mañana! was in Spanien nicht wirklich morgen heisst. ;-)
Bez. Air-Condition in der Wohnung: Bei der grösse der Wohnung ist es sehr schwer, eine Aircon zu installieren, ohne die Decken anzuhängen etc. Bei den Stuck-Decken wäre das sehr schade. Zudem beschränkt sich das mit der Hitze in Barcelona lediglich auf 2-3 Wochen im Juli. Rest der Zeit ist die Temperatur ok.
