Welcome to the serenity of Oak Beach. This charming and cozy two bedroom cottage is less than a minute's walk to the private beach area where you can walk for miles on the white sand. Make yourself at home in front of the fireplace, or relax on the deck with a cold beverage. This peaceful cottage whispers relaxation and is sure to be the vacation to recharge your batteries. An excellent meat market and small grocery are within walking distance, and tourist attractions abound in either direction with Caseville to the west and Port Austin to the east. Enjoy our local festivals and farmer's markets and that up north feeling without the big drive.

Pets: Please ask before bringing your dog or other pets. While we are pet lovers, we also know that some dogs can be a handful, and unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will always allow dogs at our cottage. Our policy is a little gray at this point , and until we decide one way or the other, we encourage you to ask.

Activities: Oak Beach Cottage is close to many memory making activities. Miniature golf, canoeing, and nature trails are all within walking distance. M-25, the closest major roadway, offers an ample shoulder for biking to either Port Austin or Caseville. The cottage itself is equipped with board games, movies, and books for those rare rainy days when being outside is not an option.

Perfect weekend get-away

This cottage was perfect for a quiet weekend get-away for my husband and myself. Impecably clean, comfortable, everything was provided. The kitchen lacked nothing - even the BBQ was spotless! We were there the weekend before Memorial Day, so everything was pretty quiet and the kayak rental facility was not open yet. Still, it was a wonderful weekend! The beach was great. It was covered in little muscle shells, but one of the residents told us that was very unusual and that the beach was usually very well kept. Gorgeous sunsets! We are looking forward to another trip soon, this time with our kids.

This cottage was fantastic. It's in a great location just a few minute walk to the beach. It is clean, homey, and has everything you need. It's a perfect place for a quiet getaway with many nice spots to put your feet up and read a book. It also has a nice sized TV with cable hook-up so you can entertain the family and make sure not to miss the ball game. It exceeded all our expectations and we're already talking about going back.

Quiet and very relaxing!

My husband and I have stayed twice in the last year and a half. Our first stay was our honeymoon! We've stayed in both winter and fall. The cabin is VERY clean and cozy. We have enjoyed relaxing and quite get-a-ways. The cottage comes with everything you will need for a weekend or a weeks stay. The beach is beautiful, clean and quite, you will hardly notice the walk. IF you encounter others they will most certainly warmly greet you and offer if you should need anything just to let them know. We cannot say enough about the hospitality of the owners. If you stay once, you will surely want to return.

Spent two nights at Oak Beach Cottage and found it to be very clean and well stocked with all the comforts of home. We spent our days on the white sandy beach and in the clear water just a hundred yards from the front door. It was everything we hoped for and more during our brief getaway. Will definitely stay again!

Clean, homey, everything we needed. Great private beach area. We had a great time and the dogs loved the water! The kitchen had all utensils and bbq in the backyard. It is a very quick walk to the Lake.
