Artists' Beautiful Ocean View House in Pacific Palisades, CA sits atop Palisades Hill. 50's retro style designed by famous architect Cliff May, perfect house for friends or family, entertaining or relaxing! Four Bedroom, two bathroom, with a small room and single bed off the master, could be used as an office. House and the master bedroom have double doors which open to views of Pacific Palisades, Malibu, the Ocean and the Mountains. Dining room/spacious open living room with fireplace, windows overlooking view. Floors are all beautiful coral pink and light gray marble, hard wood floors, very nice area rugs. All floors with original mosaic designs, house is newly remodeled. There is an outside Open Room (Lounge) with fireplace, black slate tile floor, and waterfall, featuring stained glass mermaid with jade and onyx tail.
Living room opens to front lawn with wonderful views leading down to the cactus garden. Perfect for social gatherings. Modern Kitchen with Marble floors and a beautiful blue, gray, pink quartz crystal counter top. Each bedroom has queen size bed, Master Bedroom has king size bed. There is a cute cabin in the back of the house. House completely opens up, has gorgeous panoramic views, overlooking Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, a wide expanse of the Pacific Ocean and islands, Views of the 'Diamond Necklace' from Point Dume across all the beach cities to Palos Verdes. Interior design by acclaimed Artist Catherine Andrews. Paintings fill the house, complimented by her original design stained glass in the house and a mermaid under the waterfall. At entrance to property is a modernistic single helix shaped car port for two cars.
Great location! 'upscale' area, Ten minutes drive to Santa Monica and Malibu, going East on Sunset Blvd. from down the hill close is Brentwood, followed by Bel Air, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles. Near to downtown Santa Monica, Third Street Promenade, and the Santa Monica Pier, which you can see from the house. Kitchen appliances are all new and of best quality, TempurPedic mattresses, new flat screen TV, internet access, DSL and Wifi. Suede recliner couches in Living Room. House is 1900 square feet. Three minutes drive from beach, just above Palisade's Village with shops, restaurants and entertainment. House is located on a beautiful Cul-de-sac street no through traffic, quiet neighbors and streets are cleaned weekly, no parking ticket worries. Newly built original design carport accommodates two+ cars and plenty of street parking in front of house. Master bedroom has large T.V. with satellite cable all around. Living room has new 43' flat screen T.V. and sound system.

We have lived there for several years and have always rented it for months during the summer, we have returning renters and everyone absolutely loves the property! I wanted to relay what a fantastic house this is for what it offers and for its location. Set in a nice quiet area with great views of both the city and the ocean, we couldn’t have asked for more. As a group of 12, the house accommodated our needs due to us having children in the party, but for space 9 adults/persons would be perfect (as it advertises). The house is clean and offers great space through its lay out; outside has a small garden and lounge area with fireplace, providing the views as well a great place to entertain into the night. In our dealings for this rental everything was handled fantastically and Kathleen could not have been more helpful - correspondences from her were responsive and useful. We had the house as a base for our final days in LA and the location was perfect for us – it offered nearby restaurants and supermarkets, and was a short drive from the Pacific Coast Highway, giving us great access down into Santa Monica and up to Malibu. For a mix of city and beach experiences the location is great. We loved it and only wished we were able to stay longer. Would definitely recommend it and definitely return to it!”
