BEAUTIFUL AND TASTEFUL DECOR - After having spent many summers in wonderful Nantucket, we have tried to capture its essence by decorating our home with materials and colors that invite the the hand and delight the eye. The hallways and kitchen area are of sand cast brick. Our painted oak furniture is colorful and cheerful, but all in the Nantucket style for comfort and warmth. All furnishings and appliances in almost new condition. Very comfortable, 'Walpole' Adirondack chairs on the back deck - wonderful to read with just the sounds of birds and the aroma of different plants.

Decorated with much thought from our travels (not 'institutional'): Art, antique maps, and various prints including several of Nantucket; very tasteful.

AIP OMNI GUEST CARD - we are members of the Amelia Island Plantation Club and, therefore, can purchase a guest card for you (the rate is $75/day, 1 week min., unfortunately). . We include many amenities at our home, and the card is not necessary to have a great vacation. The card gives you ACCESS (but fees apply) to the Omni tennis courts, golf, indoor fitness center with heated pool, tram, and outdoor pools. Similar facilities are available off the plantation at public and private venues - and without the cost of paying the Omni $75/day. Please inquire about details. You can have a great vacation without the card and find similar venues off the plantation, including at the close-by Ritz Carlton Hotel.
OUR OUTSTANDING SERVICE - We have an 'on-island' friend, Carol, who will meet you with keys, arrange for your car permit, and is available to meet any emergencies during your stay.
