Never get bored in this cozy cottage located in the resort community of Sugar Springs offering 1000 acres of lake, 15 private beach clubs with bath houses and playgrounds, boat launches, tennis courts, basketball court, bocce ball court, 18 hole championship golf course, pro shop, clubhouse with restaurant and bar, indoor Olympic size pool, hiking trails, nearby snowmobile trails, grass airstrip, etc. Like to fish? Fresh catch includes bass, walleye, northern pike, and pan fish. Winter activities include 4 sledding hills, ice skating, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and nearby tubing.

Enjoy an ''up north'' setting just 163 miles away from Detroit. 75' of lake frontage on Lake Lancelot. Fire pit, beach area, sandy bottom swimming area. Boating restrictions in morning and evening add to serene and quiet surroundings.

Terrific family vacation home

My family of 6 had the best time and will definitely be back to rent again. Sherry was extremely accommodating and made my first rental experience a pleasure. The home was clean and cozy. We loved the screened in porch, fire pit and sandy beach area. Perfect for large or small families. The lake was one of the cleanest we've ever swam in.

We had a great time the home was really nice. We enjoyed the area the acess to the indoor pool and gym. The lakes are beautiful we were able to swim and fish. Very relaxing area.

LOVE this cottage!

This lakefront cottage was everything we hoped it would be. I have a special attachment to Sugar Springs and I can honestly say that this area is Mid-Michigan's best kept little secret.
We stayed here in August, 2011 and had a fabulous time with our family and friends!!! The lake, the boating, the huge ice cream cones from the Sugar Shack, the firepit, the blue herons, the cozy decor....it was all lovely and we're coming back this summer to do it all over again!

COMFORTABLE RETREAT

My husband & I were in the Gladwin area for a Field Trial and were looking for comfortable nearby accommodations that were clean, quiet and non-smoking. This house was just the right place - tucked away in a private subdivision with a lovely view of a quiet lake. We were much more comfortable here after a long day outside than we would have been in a regular small hotel room. The owner provided helpful information about the house prior to our arrival and all was as expected. On our check out date, we had an unplanned delay in vacating the house and the owner was extremely accommodating. I initially had some reservations about renting from an unknown individual rather than a rental company, but this owner did everything she said she would and all was in order. Thank you Sheri !

Wonderful Family Getaway

We very much enjoyed our week at the cottage. The water and sand were perfect for our grandchildren and the fishing was great right off the dock. My husband caught a 191/2 inch large mouth bass and that made his week. The owner is very accomodating and we really like the fact that it is a pet friendly property.
