If you love fun in the sun, this is the ideal spot for you. Everyone that visits falls in love with the place. Available for week-ends, weeks or monthly rentals as available Sept - May. Weekly rentals only June- August.

Perfect house for memorable family vacations. Enjoy fantastic water views from the wrap around porch. Fishing, crabbing, boating and swimming off the private beach and dock on the Pattagansett River (gentle, tidal river). Five kayaks and canoe available for renters use. Plenty of tributaries to explore and small sandy beaches to picnic on. Short paddle to bay. Great place for floating down the lazy river on tubes or relaxing on the deck overlooking the River. Children's play area with swings, curly slide and 2 towers.

Fully furnished house with 5 bedrooms, sleeps 11 - 13 comfortably. Home was completely renovated in 2006. Large, spacious L-shaped living room, clean and comfortably furnished (but not luxurious). First floor bedroom (queen) & bathroom. Plenty of room on the 2.5 acre lot for family games, car, boat and trailer parking. Huge maple tree and covered porch for afternoons relaxing in the shade.

Short drive or walk to Niantic's town beaches (Crescent Beach, McCooks), specialty shops, stores and restaurants. Minutes to Rocky Neck State Park and Harkness State Park. Close to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, Westbrook and Clinton outlet shopping, Mystic Aquarium and Seaport, New London, USCGA, Groton, Naval Base. Great restaurants, fresh seafood, fishing charters and parasailing from Niantic Bay.

Third generation, family home. Great memories of large family gatherings throughout the years. Great place to explore and play or just sit back, relax and enjoy the peacefulness. Everyone who visits has such a great time they always want to return.

Great Vacation Home

My family and I have used VBRO many times and this is one of best places we rented. The home is very clean, comfortable and cozy. The property is huge but most of all its surrounding are beautiful. From the gorgeous maple tree to the serene flowing creek and tall grass wetlands. The home is well maintained and has everything you could possible need and more. We did some crabbing and fishing right off the dock which was so much fun. Attractions done and recommended: Providence RI, ( the waterfire show and Roger Williams zoo - they have an amazing display of over 5000 carved pumkins during the fall season). Fort Trumbell State Park - closed for the season but able to walk around the area and go on the huge fishing pier- watched the coast guard training in the water. Essex steam train and riverboat. Mystic seaport and aquarium - Mystic Pizza - yummy! There's a ice cream shop by the famous drawbrigde in mystic( next to the black dog shop) that makes the best homemade ice-cream. Pumpkin Ice cream amazing!! Drove to Mystic twice to get more ice cream. Go to Lenny's and Joes fishtail restaurant in Westbrook by the outlets. Great food for good prices. They even have a soviener shop that sells caps and T-shirts for cheap.
The owners are so organized and so nice to deal with. Thank you Angela for being so kind and accommodating. My family and I thank you very much for the rental of your home. We had a great time.

Amazing Rental!!!

My family, friends and I cannot stop talking about this home and how wonderful and perfect it is! We spent the week leading up to my wedding kayaking everyday and enjoying the large yard and the beautiful, peaceful views! We also had our rehearsal dinner at the home and it was the perfect spot, everyone was very impressed and loved the home! My husband and I hope to rent again this summer and enjoy the home again and reminisce about the amazing week we had before the best day of our lives! Thank you so much Angela for accommodating us and letting us stay at your lovely home!

Great getaway in my own state!

We loved our time at Creek House. Like Marge from Colchester, we had visitors and guests from infants to age 87 and this home worked for all of us. There was plent for the kids to do, and easy for their parents to keep an eye on them. There is plenty to do and see in the area, but it is just as wonderful if you decide to stay at the house. I had my coffee overlooking the river every morning and watched the parade of birds that passed through. Several of my guests asked about information for renting the property, so I don't doubt that there will be even more folks to compete with for rental time next year!

Upon checking in for our stay, we were amazed at how well stocked the home was. Everything we needed was there. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. We averaged 10-14 people, ages ranging from 6 to 68 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The lounge area upstairs was great for the kids. That's where they hung out when they weren't crabbing, swimming, jumping off the bridge or playing in the yard. The adults enjoyed yard games and just being with family. We used the tiki torches and found that it worked great keeping the bugs away in the evenings. We did a campfire one night and roasted marshmellos. There is a jewelery store in a church at Flanders called LA Jewelery worth checking out. At Flanders four corners, take a left and it's passed CVS on the left. Everyone in our family took a vote and we hope to return to the creek house next year. Thank you for sharing the creek house and all it's history with us.

Great outdoor space and VIEWS!

This was a great place for our family to use as home base for our son's wedding in CT. The wedding events were in Essex and Deep River but Creek House was close enough to easily attend those and return. And when we got back to the house we loved to relax, watch the wildlife, enjoy the many thoughtfully chosen outdoor seating areas and cook meals in the very well-stocked kitchen. When it rained, we sat out on the covered deck outside the kitchen door. Our 3 year old granddaughter thought she was in heaven with the little play structure and space to play. When we had the time to use the kayaks, the adults pretty much agreed.
Thanks to Angela for answering all our questions and being so welcoming and accommodating.
p.s. The bedroom downstairs could use some darkening shades for those who don't necessarily want to wake up with the sunrise.
