Lovely home, amazing mgmt, try in the fall/winter

We had a wonderful time at this home during the fall / winter time. The home has plenty of space and is located literally, depending on the tides, several feet from the water - from the living room, you almost feel as if you are on a dock in the middle of Atlantic. All modern day conveniences are there - internet, cable, washer and dryer,etc...
The beach itself is very beautiful. We were there with our two year old son and would walk the beach often. He loved sifting through the sand and sea shells and we would walk out to the sand bars during low tides. Very memorable for me and my wife.
So overall, just as a vacation home, we couldn't give a higher recommendation.
But I also wanted to highlight a couple other points that maybe the other reviewers might not have covered.
First the management of this home is first rate. We were in Milford when Sandy hit and Cheryl and her clean up crew were able to get the house up and running in no time. Another example was when we first came to the home, we asked if they could add a rail to a set of stairs to the beach as we had a small child. Before we moved in, it was done. We have several examples of a responsive, hard working, and cheerful hosts.
Second, we were there during the fall / winter and it was beautiful. We caught a few weeks of warm days and that was great but there are not too many things as beautiful as a snow fall on the beach. Something to think about if you want to have a relaxing winter break away from it all.
Third, for those of you who are in between homes, a vacation home in Milford is a great option. We were in the process of updating a newly purchased home and the time stretched out a little longer than anticipated. This home was a great place to just ride out the time between homes.
Overall, a wonderful home in a beautiful inlet. Great hosts. Nice town. And maybe worth looking into during the off season. We hope to be back in the summer with our extended family.
