This house is located between the beach and Hwy. 98, so no having to cross the road to get to the beach. It is the only house located Beach Side of Hwy. 98 that has a private pool. With other features like a 150 ft. walk to the beach, great gulf views from inside and outside the house, pet friendly, has over 2200 sq. ft. of heated and cooled living area, wifi, and close to the pier this house is exactly what you have been looking for.

The home is elevated 10 feet off the ground to enhance your views and is 2 stories. The ground floor consists of a full bathroom to use when coming in from the beach and pool. In addition, there is a fully equipped laundry room and laundry chutes on each floor. There is also a nice storage area for beach equipment and who could forget the outdoor entertainment area that has a flat screen TV to watch while relaxing by the pool.

On the 2nd floor you will find 2 master suites and 2 full bathrooms. One bedroom has a king bed while the other a queen. Come, enjoy your evening bath in the master room soaker tub, while enjoying the view of the beach at the same time. All bedrooms throughout the house have a flat screen TV in every room. Outside in the back yard is the private swimming pool which can be accessed from the back deck by a stairway or through the fence. It is 3.5 ft – 5 ft. deep. There is plenty of pool furniture for your group as well. The rest of the grounds are professionally landscaped and maintained.

Notes: The first floor consists of a living room with lofted ceilings, kitchen, dining, 2 guest rooms and 1 full bath. The living room has ample seating, a 50 inch flat screen with DVD player, and 1 queen pullout sleeper sofa. The kitchen comes fully stocked with custom cabinets, Corian tops, and stainless appliances, with seating of up to 10 people at once. The 1st bedroom has a queen bed while the other has 2 sets of twin over full convertible futons. Outside on the 1st Floor there is a covered deck on the front of the home that gives you wonderful views of the gulf and pier. On the back deck you can enjoy more views while keeping an eye out on the pool.

Great house - loved the pool area. Not too far to the beach, but sunsets were blocked by other buildings. There were a few minor maintenance needs - biggest being that back door wouldn't stay closed so it could be locked. Also, linens (towels and washcloths) were terrible. We bought washcloths. Bunk beds were not conducive to good sleeping arrangements for sixty year old women.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Sorry to hear about the door and we could of had that fixed in a few minutes all we needed was a call. Also the linens have been addressed with the new owners. They are much more plush and comfortable on the skin. Glad you had a good time and come see us again soon.

Best Vacation Ever!

Having used VRBO for several years, we had become accustomed to owners/agents over-selling their listings. That is definitely NOT the case here. This home is accurately described in the listing and was a pleasant surprise. We found it EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN and ready for use. The furnishings and kitchen equipment were more than adequate. The only negatives that we can come up with are the cheap, loud ceiling fans in the bedrooms, and too little pool furniture around the pool deck. Otherwise, the house can not be beat for value. The TV by the pool is great during fall football season. It is an easy walk to the beach, the convenience store, several shops, a fresh seafood store, restaurants,and bars. The merchants of Mexico Beach are most welcoming and gracious. This is a pleasant destination and we look forward to returning for many years to come. We encourage you to seriously consider this listing should Mexico Beach be on your list of vacation destinations.

Our family had a great family reunion vacation at this beach house. Everyone loved it and wants to do it again next year. The house is roomy and beautiful with everything you could ask for. Wonderful trip!!!! Loved the pool and to sit outside in the morning with your coffee and listen to the waves of the beach was great! Absolutely A++++++++

"Turkey At the Beach"

4 family Thanksgiving at the Beach!!! My husband's family used to go to the beach every Thanksgiving. As they grew and moved out, the tradition stopped. This was a wonderful experience with the grandparents, parents and grandchildren. The house was perfect, the children stayed in the pool or at the beach and the men fished on the pier. There was enough room in the kitchen for us ladies to cook the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a wonderful time, and look forward to coming back again for "Turkey at the Beach" as my nephew said. Thanks for everything Zach.

Great place for a vacation!

Owner was very easy to deal with. Place is even nicer in person than the pictures can convey. Easy access to a wonderful stretch of Mexico Beach. Convenient to everything. Pool was very enjoyable. Watched most of the World Cup in the pool. Kids loved the laundry chutes and pretty much everything about the place. Kitchen and living area great for spending time together in the evenings. Had one problem related to the new construction but owner had someone out right away to fix. Workman was pleasant and polite and out as quick as possible without being obtrusive. Would definitely stay at this property or one of the owner's other properties again.
