About Tom & Lois Mushovic
My wife and I spent 20 years in the military with a three year assignment to Alaska from 79 to 82. We retired in 1985 when an opportunity arose to return to Alaska and pursue a position in Anchorage. We lived in Anchorage, with frequent trips to the Kenai Peninsula for another 24 years. Our three children attended high school in Anchorage and then colleges outside. They are now outside with their families but we are still here. During our years in Anchorage we were always going 'South' to the Kenai /Soldotna area for recreational purposes. We found this home in 1996 and have enjoyed it ever since. It is now available for you to enjoy!
Tom & Lois Mushovic purchased this house in 1996
Why Tom & Lois Mushovic chose Soldotna
We purchased this property with the intention of eventually using it as our retirement home. In 2007 we started building a log home on an adjoining lot. It was completed in 2009 and we moved To Soldotna, We are now offering the listed property as a vacation rental. We love the area, the closeness to the riv,er and the frequent opportunities to observe the abundant wildlife. We love the opportunity to fish with family and friends without the crowds so common elsewhere. You will too!
What makes this house unique
We enjoy the seclusion and the many recreational opportunities in the immediate area. The fishing is great and the opportunities to observe the local wildlife are frequent. During the summer the gulls and eagles are ever present and we enjoy watching them scouring the river for a treat. Moose, bears, lynx, wolves and caribou also frequent the surrounding area.
