Mystic Bee Chalet

Our stay was very enjoyable. The chalet is a beautiful two-story townhouse, with three bedrooms. The chalet can accommodate up to six people comfortably. One bedroom was downstairs, next, which included two beds. The second floor only had bedrooms: one master with a king bed, and a bathroom with double sinks; the other bedroom had two double beds. Each of the bedrooms had their own bathroom. The dining and living room area had cathedral ceilings, with the top of the stairs overlooking the whole first floor. Stunning.
The chalet is not more than 50 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone. Although it is at least 85 miles from the closest town with a major grocery store, it is in a community that is self-sufficient-- there is a small market, movie theater, restaurants and bars, a golf course, and other activities. During my family's stay, there was a concert in the park near the entrance of the community.
Everything was provided for, kitchen utensils, cooking pots & pans, bath towels. It was very clean, and the decor made it feel very homey. We were able to save money by cooking meals, and preparing lunches before we went sightseeing.
We originally booked the chalet for eight days, but then changed it to four, as our plans changed. The owners were very easy to work with, and very thorough. They left very detailed instructions on the dining table.
I would highly recommend this rental, as it will make your stay feel like a home away from home.
Owner's Response: Great to hear you enjoyed your stay and found everything you needed. And happy to hear you found the concert in the Town Center while you were there! Thank you so much for the recommendation, we were happy to acommodate you!
Just a couple of clarifications regarding the chalet for future renters. The beds in the upper level bedroom are queen sized beds. So the chalet has a total of 3 queen beds, 1 king, and 1 single. Also, as mentioned Big Sky does have a small grocery store/market (2 of them actually) along with restaurants and other activities. However the city of Bozeman is about 45 miles away and you can find much more shopping there with large grocery stores, including Costco! Prices in Big Sky can be a little higher than Bozeman, so we would recommend stocking up in Bozeman if possible.
Thanks again for your review and recommendation, and choosing our property for your stay!
