Only 2 hrs from Boston the house located in middle of Lake Winni/on a bridged island/ 5 min drive to life guarded beach or 10 second drive. or walk to lake and boat launch (free)! Fire pit with permit (most rentals will not let you have outside fire) ! Beautiful 18 hole Ridgewood golf course in town. Moultonboro known to be the nicer part of Lake Winni, quiet yet plenty to do fine restaurants/antique stores ect and the weirs 20 min from house with arcades/ THE FUN SPOT one of largest arcades in world!! ect. Motorboat rentals kayaks ect. nearby! Country store only 10 min away sells quality meats lobster ect! canoes included and for rent nearby!, ask!

House is not on water but on bridged island in middle of lake winni, you drive your car over bridge you dont need a boat to get to house./ walk to water at boat launch, fish, swim at beach on island (5 min drive to beach right down the road)! ride you bike, running is popular around island. lots of dear to see on island. call for more details.

centrally located on a bridged island u can drive over bridge to get to, no boat required, canoe provided , fire pit ect, wood stove and more see pics! great for all types of gatherings. i bought because this cottage is in the middle of lake winni! fishing snowmobiling ice fishing great restaurant hiking everything is nearby the town of moultonboro even has a outdoor skating rink with lights, tennis courts, bike paths and more!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights with our dog and had a great time. We really lucked out with the weather which helped make this a great mini vacation! Spent most of our time out on the deck soaking up the sun! Very quiet area. We had a few friends come up for the weekend and still had plenty of room! Pool table is great. The grill worked really well. The house was clean upon arrival. Owner Jerry was very friendly and helpful. He made some good recommendations for a place for breakfast and said he would let us know if we could ever use the fire pit (sadly we never could!--high brush fire risk but nothing he/we could do about it! oh well!) All in all a great place and a great vacation.

LOVED our mini vacation here!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and had an absolutely fantastic time! The house was large, super clean and Jerry, the owner, was very friendly. He stocked up on wood for us for the outside fire pit and the woodstove, gave us info about the area and was overall a very friendly, relatable guy. He has the house decorated with alot of antiques that he's found over the years, it was really enjoyable to browse through them all. We had a minor issue with connecting to the wifi and he was so quick to help us figure out how to connect. The area is absolutely beautiful... the lake is gorgeous and is only a short walk away. We were delighted to see a whole family of deer right in the backyard early one morning, I'm sure your chances are high that you would see the same. Overall, this is a great place to stay and you will LOVE your trip to Lake Winnipesaukee, this was our first time and we were very happy with choosing this house over the others that we looked at. Enjoy your stay!!!

Two thumbs up, everything as advertised, tons of places to sleep with beds and couches, pool table is a great addition. Layout is great first floor wide open as well as second floor. Great deck, also grills, really don't have a bad thing to say, will probably rent same place again in future.

Spacious home for vocations at any season

We arrived at the beginning of fall. This spacious house is convenient both for small and big team. It is surrounded with friendly neighbors. The house is 7min away by walk from the lake and 2 min to drive to the town beach. We had a bicycle and canoe at our disposal that was moved to the bank of the lake right away after our request. We used the fire place last couple of days to warm the house and enjoy the fire. Sound system and big screen TV make possible for company to spend good time on the second floor. There are some shops around that completely provide your needs in comfortable living. Fresh woody air brought special fun during the whole vocations. We cooked our meals in the kitchen, that was fully equipped and spacious enough. That was one of the best vocations that I have spent. We would recommend the property for both summer and winter holidays.

As lovers of the the Lakes and Mountains Region, my decided to spend a special month in Moultenboro. We were looking for nothing fancy but a home environment with many activities within a walk, bike or short drive.

Fortune lead us to this Long Island Road, Moultonboro home. The home was spacious enough to make our family of 4 feel at home, as well as to host our best friends who came to visit each weekend.

The owner treated us as if we lived in his home year around, volunteered to show us around the area and shared food, equipment and recreational items as if we were long time friends. He gave us firewood, bought a new outdoor grill though the extant grill was adequate and otherwise was a gem.

We caught strings of sizable large mouth bass, watched sun sets on the shore line, listened to the loons call, canoed and kiyaked to neighboring islands and beaches, enjoyed the wonderful beach reserved for residents and renters and walked, jogged and biked.

We didn't feel like we were renters but as if the home were ours and it was one of the best recreational experiences our family had, and we have had many.
