Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-3)

This is a newly remodeled apartment that is a self-contained and private unit within a large house. In Tam Valley, this spacious and attractive apartment is nestled in the trees - yet bright and conveniently located. Every window looks out onto greenery. It is 600 sq. feet, with its own washer and dryer, 40' flat screen TV with premium cable hookup, Blu-ray DVD player, and wi-fi. It has a private entrance that leads to a large covered deck surrounded by greenery. The tiled bathroom has a king-size tub with shower that also looks out onto trees. An extra person can be accommodated on a very comfortable, inflatable twin bed that is raised off the floor in the living room area.

This apartment is 10 minutes from Mt. Tamalpais, and we can arrange a mountain biking guide for you to explore the amazing trails just outside our door. We are 15 minutes away from San Francisco and ocean beaches, and 40 minutes away from the heart of Wine Country.

About The Owner

We have lived in this house for 21 years. We love the area because it is so green and quiet yet close to everything. Which is also why our guests love it. We were married in this house (20 years ago) and it has seen a lot of great occasions since then. Deborah is a San Francisco native and I am from London, England.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 1990
Why The Owner chose Mill Valley

When our daughter and grandson moved from here down to Los Angeles, we realized that the house was just too big for the two of us. After many years of thinking about it we decided to create a guest apartment. We have both traveled a lot and we wanted to create a vacation get-away that WE would love to stay in. Hopefully we've done that.

What makes this apartment unique

We never get tired of the trees, greenery and fresh air that we are fortunate enough to enjoy year round. Because we are both city people who love the outdoors, easy accessibility to San Francisco, mountain hikes and beaches has made this the perfect place to live - and we don't plan on moving anytime soon!

Lovely apt with beautiful morning view. If the morning weather suits you, sitting outside on your private "porch" with a cup of coffee is wonderful.

Peaceful and Well Equipped

This property shows real pride of ownership. It is in excellent condition and spotless. The location is excellent and not too far from the City. The kitchen is well equipped and bathroom towels are soft and clean. The bed was very comfortable also.

The owners live upstairs and are very personable and available if needed. We would love to stay here again someday.

Treehouse Paradise

Perfect! We could not have asked for a better place, location and Owners. We did not know what to expect but all our needs were met. The whole process could not have been better and Keith and Deborah made us feel at home. If we ever get back to northern California we would definately stay here. It's our favorite "Treehouse"
