Family vacation with kids

The house is SO nice. It is decorated so cute and everything is really nice quality. It was so fun and convenient to have a swimming pool right out the front door. There are 2 other houses that can use it, but we were the only ones who did. It felt really private. The kids loved the cable TV with kids channels. And they loved the big bunk bed room. The kitchen is huge and really nice. There were plenty of pillows and towels and the house staff was super helpful. They cooked for us and helped us get taxi rides and were very thorough with cleaning. The place was spotless. The bed mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. And it was hard to hike up all the steep stairs with the little kids and all our stuff, a couple of times a day when we wanted to go anywhere. During our stay there was no transportation available and there is no beach close by. It was a bit of a hassle to get to the beach and about a 20 minute tricycle ride to get there. But the house was so big and accomodating and nice, it almost made it worth it, to trek to the beach every day. With older kids it would not have been a problem. We were disappointed to not have transportation or to not be able to use the beach viewed in the photos and viewed from the house. But we loved the house and the staff and would go back again when our kids are older. The location was a bit out of the way for people having to get tired little kids home from the beach or hyper kids out the door to the beach. I would definitely recommend this house for families with older kids. Also it would be perfect for people staying for a long time, who aren't spending every minute on the beach with little ones. We'd love to rent it for a month and just live there.

Owner's Response: Glad to hear you enjoyed the house. Of course the actual situation made it impossible to supply the usual help with a car as it was broken. And the direct access to the nearby beach was still blocked by the owner. We hope for a happy solution in the near future.
