Falmouth Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Our weekly rental prices include the cleaning fee.
Our cottage is located on Highland Lake near Portland Maine. It is a short drive to the beautiful Maine Beaches and our local ski resort. We are an hour to the White Moutains and fifteen minutes to the local stores. In the winter the lake is perfect for ice fishing and x country skiing. In the summer our camp has kayaks, a paddle boat and a small volleyball/badminton court in the back yard. There is a trampoline raft in the water for the children to play on. The owners live next door so if you forgot anything,or need help finding your way around, just ask and they will help you out. In the winter there is snowmobile trails that leave the lake for endless riding (providing the lake is frozen and there is snow). We have room for one trailer and one car in the winter.
Have fun sitting around the fire pit, but please remember that our camp is surrounded by year round residents and work during the week, so we ask that you honor a 11:00p.m. quiet hour.
Milfoil Protection: We ask that you check any fishing gear and your boat for milfoil. Our lake is one of a few left in Maine that is free of milfoil.

About Donna Pennoyer
We moved here from Portland when the kids were little and plan on staying here to watch our grandchildren enjoy our lake My children grew up making fairy houses in the woods and catching salamander and learning to waterski in their front yard. My husband favorite quote is 'We live here!'
Donna Pennoyer purchased this cottage in 2000
Why Donna Pennoyer chose Falmouth
We fell in love with this view the minute we saw it. With in a few months of us buying our house, the camp next door became available so we bought it and became the proud owner of two properties on Highland Lake. We are close enough to enjoy Portland and all it offers and still be able to relax at the end of the day and feel like we are miles away from work.
What makes this cottage unique
Nothing is better than sitting by the fire and watching the moon rise over the tree.
