The summer cottage offers accommodation for 4 people. On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, 1 has a double bed, the other 2 changeable single beds. The living area passes by kitchen and eating place and sitting room with chimney and armchair, TV and HiFi arrangement. Two baths are in the house, a shower-bath on the first floor and a bigger bath with bathtub and washing machine as well as dryer in the basement. The big terraces with the nice view and swimming pool invite one to enjoy the evening mood. On the terrace, you find nice garden pieces of furniture as well as sun benches for taking life easy. The area around the olive groves is ideal for walking - there are nice walking paths which overlook the 60 km long coast. You reach the typically Greek provincial town Kyparissia with the Frankish castle about 4 km away. The Peloponnesus which escaped from the flames provides wonderful places for relaxing and recovering.

The summer cottage is on a mountain crest, approx. 4 km from the town Kyparissia and the sea. It lies on the edge of a small village, surrounded by big olive groves with wonderful view of the valley and the 60 km long coast. On good weather, one can enjoy the view of Zakynthos. Marvelous sunsets are guaranteed on the big terrace. In Kyparissia (6000 inhabitants) one finds earthy taverns, shops, weekly markets and a big Piazza Kiosk. Must go is the visit of the upper town with the Frankish Kastro. Here, one can enjoy the comfortable atmosphere with a decent, typical Greek dinner. You reach famous Olympia in approx. 45 minutes, but all around you find many places of interest. A visit is also recommended to the Mani, a mountain world whose frames fall. The capital Messeniens, Kalamata, is likewise worth an excursion, it lies only 60 km away.

Excursions: The whole region is rich in antique places of interest such as Olympia, Sparta, Epidauraus and a lot more. The town of Kalamata, 65 km away, is also very attractive for which a day trip is worthwhile. One can experience the Gipsy's market (on Thursdays) there. You find other markets in Kopanaki and Pirgos.

Wir, Heidi u. Peter aus München, hatten das Häuschen im September 2009 gebucht und waren ganz begeistert. Die Aussicht ist toll, eine hübsche Einrichtung und vor allem eine perfekt ausgestattete, sehr saubere Küche. Gute Betreuung vor Ort durch Sylvia und nette Nachbarn von allen Seiten. Etwas abenteuerlich ist die Fahrt vom Ort den Berg hinauf und hinunter.
Das Haus kann man nur empfehlen. Das Restaurant von Nino im Ort war unser 2. Wohnzimmer - das Lamm schmeckt dort super!

das Haus Morea ist ein sehr gepflegtes und hübsches kleines Haus ´mit atemberaubendem Meerblick einem schönen kleinem Pool und herrlichen Rosensträuchern!!!Besonders schön ist die sehr persönliche Betreuung und der reibungslose unkomplizierte Ablauf!!Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!

Schöne Aussicht mit romantischen Sonnenuntergängen

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern und Hund) haben schon 2 Sommerurlaube (2005, 2006) in diesem sehr schönen und gepflegten Haus verbracht. Die Lage mit dem Blick aufs Meer und seinen Sonnenuntergängen, die man auf der Terasse genießen kann ist herrlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Haus ist mit allem, was man im Urlaub benötigt ausgestattet. Sehr netter Kontakt zu dem Vermieter und gute Vor-Ort-Betreuung.
Die Gegend ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und schöne Badeurlaube.
Wir werden dieses Jahr wieder kommen!

Traumhafte Sommerabende auf Terasse - Romantik pur

Sehr sauber, neuwertige und angenehme Ausstattung, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Klein aber fein! Beschreibung ist korrekt. Traumhafte Abende auf der Terrasse - schöne Sonnenuntergänge mit Blick bis zum Meer. Besonders schön für Paare - romantisch!

P.S. Manko: Manchmal bellender Hund vom Hügel gegenüber. Abwassergegebenheiten auf den Peloponnes - vorher informieren und prüfen ob man das mag.
Achtung unsere Miete war im Sommer 2005 (das Jahr kann man aber im Formular nicht mehr ankreuzen.)
Owner's Response: Abwassergegebenheiten bedeutet, daß es keine Abwasserkanäle, sondern nur Sickergruben gibt. Darum darf kein Toilettenpapier u.ä.
in die Toiletten gelangen. Hierfür gibt es eigens Behältnisse. Das ist in ganz Griechenland, vor allem in bergigen Landschaften so üblich.

Schöne Ferien hoch über Kyparissia

Das Haus entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen entsprechend des Inserates. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Die Kinder waren besonders fasziniert vom Pool, zumal wir davon überrascht wurden. Als wir das Haus gebucht haben war noch keine Rede davon. Es ist aber eine echte Bereicherung. Die Besitzerin war für weitere Details jederzeit erreichbar. Gute Betreuung vor Ort durch Sylvia.
Sehr schöne Lage und guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Einziger kleiner Nachteil. Man braucht für alles (Einkaufen, Essen gehen etc.) das Auto.
Leider hat es während unseres Aufenthaltes jenseits des Nedas-Tales so verheerend gebrannt. Aber dafür können Haus und Besitzer nichts. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
