The view is unbelievable! Look out and see Ocean City, the Atlantic Ocean, Assateague Island, marinas, the bay, beaches. Look out the dining room window and watch blue herons feed. This is a wonderful, upscale place, less than a mile from downtown OC, great for family reunions or get-togethers. Walk to Micky Fins Bar and Grille for dinner or charter a fishing boat just steps from your front door. Walk to downtown OC across the OC Route 50 bridge or drive a short distance to park at the inlet and enjoy the boardwalk and beaches.
Grocery stores, retail shopping, great local restaurants and amusements are minutes away. The kitchen and family room are open floor plan on the upper level. Wait until you see the night skyline view of OC. There is a thousand square feet of sundeck to enjoy. There are two master bedrooms, 2 more bedrooms with queen size beds and another bedroom with two twin beds for the kids.
There is a Subzero refrigerator and Wolf 5 burner gas range in the kitchen for the culinary preparations of the chef in the group. A loft to view the outstanding scenery with a birds eye view of the harbor and boats coming and going. There is a screen porch to enjoy outdoor breakfast or an evening cocktail. An intercom provides music or audio throughout the house. The waterfall over the fireplace gives the soothing trickle of water while relaxing with your family. An elevator carries you up to the upper floor.
This is a waterfront designer decorated custom built home that you will love to come back to year after year.

We had a great time at this House. The Decor is great and the pictures don't really justify the actual Excellence of the house. The deck and the views from each level were Superb.
Hands down the best home we have ever rented. Exactly as pictured and described by the owners, and even better in person. Extremely clean, well-kept and beautifully decorated, the best feature of the home is the 360 degree view of beautiful Ocean City. Every window gives a breathtaking view of water, and every room is blessed with large windows filling the home with sunlight and sunset views. Perfectly situated on the inlet island, this home is perfect for those who want limited time in crowds; you can choose to take the Rte 50 bridge to the boardwalks and amusement parks, or you can admire the view from the windows and have a home cooked meal in the chef's dream kitchen, or take a walk to a small quiet beach. The home exudes tranquility and even with only 4 days there, I was able to unwind so easily that I felt like I was gone for weeks. The owners were extremely pleasant and prepared us well for our stay. The music system and elevator are a surprising extra touch. Bring plenty of books, you will want to spend a lot of time reading in the Loft...or the sunny decks, or the comfy living room chairs...etc. Perfect for family reunions because the layout of the bedrooms allows for privacy. Thank you for a wonderful stay in OC, I am already planning my return and am thoroughly spoiled for any hotel after staying in this home.
I had some apprehensions about renting directly from an owner (not through an agency), but the whole experience working with Karen was very smooth, she was very responsive to our specific needs and questions. The house itself is gorgeous and very comfortable. The location is rather unique - you feel both isolated on a presque-isle, but also close to everything.
A few useful notes that may not be obvious from the listing:
- The rental does not include any sheets or towels. This is spelled out very clearly in the contract including a rental place you can make your own arrangements with if you don't want to bring your own. So plan accordingly.
- There are two TVs with cable, a DVD player (missing the remote) but no blu-ray player.
- No gas grill. There is a charcoal grill in the garage.
This home is amazing! We've been renting homes in Ocean City for many years and found, by far, that this home is perfectly located for large or multiple families that want the luxuries of space & comforts of home. It's convenient enough for you to be at the beach or boardwalk within minutes or walking or driving. We brought our boat and had easy access to a boat ramp and boat dock and enjoyed the short ride to Assateague Island where we spent most days on the un-crowded beaches. The home itself was beautifully decorated and is in great condition. The only (minor) negative was that the kitchen is on the 3rd (top) floor and since there were no picnic tables in yard/on lower porches, grilling in yard made for a good hike up/down steps during dinner preparations. Aside from that, the place is absolutely wonderful! Our children enjoyed fishing off the channel wall in back yard, too, in mornings/evenings. We hated to leave & look forward to coming back! Thanks to Karen, too, who offered excellent communications before and during our stay!
My family consists of firefighters, nurses and paramedics, and to establish a good time and place to stay last minute was a challenge for us. I can't begin to tell you what this vacation meant for ALL of us. It was a time to regenerate, recooperate, and catch up on the recent past. Trying to get social time togeather for all of us is just impossible, but boy did we have the opportunity this past week! The listing of the description of the house does not do it justice, it was more than incredible!! It seems we got to spend as much time togeather that we wanted to, but still had room for privacy if you wanted it. The rental is beautifully decorated, clean and very well maintained. Karen, (the owner), was more than helpful in answering all my questions about the rental and what we could expect, and what was expected of us. Everyone talks about the sunsets, don't get me wrong, they were BEAUTIFUL, but during a storm you have some incredible visuals also, it just didn't matter that we were having a rain storm, everyone was mesmerized, even my 8 year old grandson, and he doesn't like storms. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend some quality time togeather, but would also like to have "their space". My kids enjoyed the water park at Jolly Rogers, crabs at Crab Alley, Embers Restaurant, the closeness of the boardwalk, the views of Ocean City across the bay. I'm not sure there was anything the family didn't enjoy, (especially me cooking breakfast every morning in that fabulous kitchen!!!, love that warming tray, it was a life saver. Karen, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for the greatest vacation ever!!
After eight wonderful, sunny days in this palace I can honestly say I am totally spoiled. I knew about the beautiful view of the water which I couldn't stop staring at; however, I was not told of the most unbelievable sunsets from the dining room. We have stayed in Emerald Isle, NC, previously in an ocean view home and this home would fit in perfectly there; however, this is so much closer to home and the views are so exquisite here that there is no need to travel any further. The home is immaculate and the decorator is to be commended. The lower level was perfect for our son, his wife and their three year-old as well as entertaining their friends without ever disturbing the rest of our group on the third level. I can't say enough about this beautiful home and the owners could not have been easier to deal with. I hope I will be fortunate enough to be able to enjoy this little piece of heaven again.
