My husband and I had a beautiful Carmel wedding over the summer! Of course in Carmel, finding affordable hotel/motel accommodations for a large amount of people can be quite challenging. We had a couple of groomsmen who we needed to find accommodations for and I thankfully stumbled upon this gem from many many searches on VRBO.
Communication with the owners was so easy and they were so wonderfully kind and accommodating! Also they were always very speedy with their replies which as a stressed out bride trying to make all the puzzle pieces fit together for her big day I was exceptionally grateful.
When it came time to check into the home, we arrived to a beautiful and very clean home, close to but not on the highway/main road leading to Carmel and was also very well positioned to get us into downtown Carmel and to the Carmel Mission, etc.
The three rooms worked out perfectly for us. The first night we were there, my husband and I shared the queen bedroom and our groomsmen - both traveling without their wives - shared the twin bedroom. The king bedroom was snapped up the next night by my cousin and her husband. But I can also see this house working perfectly for a family as well.
As promised, the home had a wonderful full size kitchen, a cabinet full of games, and a delightful outside porch, perfect for relaxing!
If I was traveling to Carmel with a group of friends or family, I'd absolutely want to book this home again!!
The home was perfect for unwinding after a busy day of activities. We absolutely loved the house. It was well set up for multiple people by offering privacy when needed and place to gather and enjoy each other company. Kudos to the owners. We will be back. Thanks for sharing your home with us. The home was beautiful, well stocked and centrally located. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely home. The owner Amy was great to work with and very friendly.
We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. The property was very comfortable and clean, and Amy was quick to address any questions. The location is also very convenient. We stayed here with the in-laws and one aunt, and the set up was very comfortable for all.
My buddies and I stayed here for a golf vacation and never had such a good experience before. We normally go to Palm Springs but our new fave is Carmel and Amy's home. Everything was perfect and we didn't want to leave after having such good time. Amy gave so much good information and the restaurant recommendations were perfect. We chankan't wait for our next trip there and thanks to Awesome Amy for making our vacation perfect.
We stayed last August in Amy's house... we that's my wife, two sons and myself... being from Belgium Europe its not as "normal" to "just" rent a house in Carmel!
But with Amy all went smooth and easy!
From start till finish, this was a great stay!
Amy is very easy going, and a good communicator, flexible and correct.
Unfortunately a not so good photographer. The House is 100 times more like the pictures do show You... after checking the pictures a 100 times we were simply blown away at arrival. The house is very spacious and very well designed. More like a normal house, not like most holiday homes with miniature bathroom etc. Here all rooms are kind of over sized...
Having visit for the car week it was a big advantage to have the garage and a large drive that we could use to keep our collector cars of the street...
Amy was always available when I needed some information or had a question, what made me feel very comfortable....
Downtown is like a 15-20min walk....
Yes I would rent again when back in the area...
