The Office of Tourism recently reviewed and placed a 4-star rating on this holiday rental. This is the highest rating for any Residential Tourism Classification in the city. The city of Quebec has recently accredited this building for tourism rentals. When inquiring about any property your first question of any property owner should be, 'Are you accredited by the City of Quebec?' Quebec City, Quebec, Canada (In the Heart of Place Royal the Birthplace of New France) -- This Historic Greystone was rece sits along the St. Lawrence river and is walking distance to all within the old city. This beautiful building welcomes visitors with it's granite tiling throughout the entry and stairs leading up to the unit. Don't feel like walking up a flight of stairs...no problem the building has an elevator for the use of our guests. Entering the condo you are met by a spacious hallway with the original red brick wall. Advancing a few steps and turning the corner is when the 'wow' factor hits our guests. You are see the vast open space of the condo beautifully decorated and furnished with a back drop of 11 foot high windows looking out at the St. Lawrence River The word 'Quebec' comes from the first nations word meaning, 'where the rive narrows'. This is visible from the living room of this condo as you look out eastward down the mighty St. Lawrence towards the Orleans Island.

    A four/five star hotel offering this amount of space and quality would be $700 -$1500 per night for a luxury suite.
    We want this vacation rental to be affordable and price it at a level that would compare with the renting of a standard rental in a 4-5 star hotel. Larger groups would possibly require two rooms so that adds up.

We trekked of through ice and snow to enjoy Winter Carnival in Quebec. Now, we love the ice and we love the snow, but we really loved the Royal Dalhousie! After sliding down ice slides and being live foosball players, there is nothing like a deep, hot bath, a hot cup of coffee and a croissant from the bakery that is right downstairs. The apartment more than met our needs. It is roomy-even with my 23, 21 and 14 year olds along. The entire apartment was clean and well appointed. Ed gave us our privacy while also suggesting a great restaurant. We were able to enjoy the extreme kayak race right from our windows. I would recommend this lovely accommodation to any and all.

Truly magnificent

We are a family of 5 adults from Australia that stayed in this apartment over Christmas. The photos of the apartment looked amazing on the internet, but was even more spectacular than we envisaged. Location was perfect, it was within easy walking distance to quality restaurants, Christmas lights and just a few flights of stairs to Le Chateau Frontenac where we had Christmas Brunch, it was a truly beautiful white Christmas. This is definitely 5 star accommodation. Would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying.

Two couples, post kids, needed a week in Quebec City. The condo could not have been better: Clean, spacious accomodations, good kitchen, right in lower old Quebec City. Our favorite street was St. Paul and the old port market is within walking distance. There is a great little cafe downstairs in the building. And Ed was the best. He made us feel welcome, answered promptly all questions and made great recommendations about the area, including a meal catered in one night. We will be returning for certain.

Perfect for Quebec experience

Cannot say enough about this magnificent property. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom with soaps etc, but best of all this heritage building has a fabulous view of the river. Close to all the historic sites. Many lovely restaurants within walking distance. Cafe on the ground level has great coffees and pastries. We brought them up to the condo every morning. How wonderful!

You could not ask for better accommodation. We will be back. Thanks for the memories..

It is a wonderful stay with a magnificent view to the river. The condo is very big and beautiful. Highly recommended. It has its own parking lot.
