Sleep like a baby in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. All new construction of 800 square foot two bedroom apartment above a boat garage that sleeps six - 75 feet from the beach on breathtaking Schroon Lake. Enjoy the southwest exposures as you relax on the 200 foot private beachfront at sunset. Dine inside in a new kitchen and breakfast nook or grill outside on a picnic table. Nap all afternoon on the hammock under the trees and watch the boats go by. Hike all morning, bask in the sun all afternoon. Jog or walk to the Adirondack General Store for the best Adirondack breakfast and Adirondack souvenirs. Swim, boat, canoe or do absolutely nothing. The choice is yours. Retreat to this hideaway with all modern amenities - all kitchen supplies, towels, linens supplied. Furnishings are aimed to please and provide for a truly relaxing vacation or weekend away. Monthly and weekly rates are available during June, July, August, and September.

We rent in the winter as well - 30 minutes to Gore

Enjoying the quiet time

The apartment is as described and as the pictures show. It is very comfortable, clean and well-taken care of. The children enjoyed running and splashing on the beach although I wouldn't let my 5 year old swim in it because it was grassy. She did, however, enjoy laying in the hammock. :-) We did take her swimming at the public beach on Schroon Lake which is really nice. Owners are very nice and accomodating.
