This luxury home is located in the exclusive Painted Rock area of Squaw Valley. The house is a few minutes drive from the base of the Squaw Valley ski area and the Resort at Squaw Creek. The home is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac backing up to open space and is very private. The low elevation affords easy access by car with no steep slippery roads to negotiate. Whether you ski, golf, or mountain bike ride, this location gives you access to all that the Tahoe area has to offer. The home is complete with high-end finishes and quality furnishings and a large private hot tub. This is a private home and is completely stocked.

The home is comfortable for families. Upstairs includes a beautiful kitchen with limestone counter tops and professional appliances. There is a large dining room that will comfortably seat 12 adjacent to the great room with a floor to ceiling granite fireplace, flat screen TV with satellite and stereo. There are two master suites, a half bath, as well as a large mud room on this level. The oversized 2 car garage is heated.

Downstairs features a family room with an air hockey table, flat screen TV, and fireplace. There are two additional bedrooms and a full bath on the lower level. One bedroom has a double bed and one set of bunk beds and the other bedroom has a queen bed.. The mini-office is equipped with a computer, fax and printer. There are 2 Aero-beds available (at an additional cleaning cost) if extra sleeping space is needed.

This luxury Squaw Valley home with attention to detail is perfect for the discriminating vacationer.

About The Owner

This is our private family vacation home. Our kids are off to college and we find we are not in the area as often so we are willing to share our home for the time being.

The Owner purchased this house in 2000
Why The Owner chose Olympic Valley

We built the house in Squaw Valley so we could be close to the mountain. The quiet and private location is perfect in both summer and winter.

What makes this house unique

Squaw Valley USA is the top ski area in the area (if not the country). We are minutes from the mountain in winter. In summer we enjoy the pool at high camp, biking to Tahoe City or time at the lake. The Squaw Village is very close with restaurants, shopping and recreation.

The house is beautiful, it is just as it is in the pictures and in the description. Super clean and comfortable. The house was only a few minutes drive to the slopes.

Lynette was very responsive to my emails and also provided detailed instruction for our stay... which I appreciated.

What a beautiful house!

We had such a wonderful time at this house. It was impeccable clean when we arrived and we loved the heating garage and mud room. The house was beautifully decorated and we felt truly comfortable with our group of 4 adults and 3 children. We have stayed at many homes in Squaw valley area for the past 10 years, and we all agreed that this house is the best so far. It's very luxurious. The house is spacious but at the same time very cozy.
The kitchen was very equipped and had every thing we need, and even more. Our chef cook gave it a big thump up! The hot tub was a big hit after skiing!
We definitely will come back to this house in the future and highly recommend it to any one!

Amazing Home!

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. It was gorgeous and very functional for our group or 4 adults and 2 children. The high ceilings and dramatic windows add so much to the beauty of the home and it was even more outstanding in person than in the photos. We truly felt at home here and had every imaginable amenity. We cooked fantastic dinners and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. Our kids loved playing in the snow out in the yard and we all enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing. The owners were very nice and easy to work with and available to answer any questions that came up. We look forward to coming back another time and would highly recommend this property to our friends and family.
