Under new ownership in February 2010, Moonlight Magic has recently been upgraded with new interior furnishings and luxury amenities to accommodate our guests. The little things can make a huge difference!

This charming log cabin is conveniently located just seven miles west of the city of Sturgeon Bay and the gateway of Door County. Moonlight Magic provides a 300-feet deep wooded lot for privacy and plenty of parking for vehicles/boats with 100-feet of waterfront with a pebble beach. The shore front cottage is just 30 feet from the water and is not visible from the road.
View the sunrise over Larsen’s Reef, which is one of the hottest fishing spots in Door County, the Sturgeon Bay shipping channel and the big waters of Green Bay. The area is on a quiet, wooded, and beautiful point with Riley’s Bay on one side and Sand Bay on the other that includes three sand beaches that are within walking distance. It is perfect for walking, biking, and rollerblading along the wildflowers and tree-lined loop that is abound with wildlife. Enjoy the pelicans and wildlife that visit our private, secluded haven. Relax in front of the bonfire and enjoy the fireworks that frequent a warm summer night with the waves pounding on the shoreline.

The kitchen contains pots/pans, cooking utensils, coffeemaker, can opener, blender, dishes, stove, refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher for your cooking needs.
The two bedrooms upstairs include a king-size bed in one room and three full-size beds in the second room to accommodate up to eight guests. There is a twin-size roll-away bed located on the Main Floor to accommodate one extra guest. The full bath with a shower/tub is located on the Main Floor.
Central Heating & Cooling throughout. Ceiling fans are located on the Main Floor and in the Screened-in-Porch.
There is an enclosed porch, furnished with new wicker furniture, that leads to the furnished patio and fire pit. Stone steps lead down to the dock for a closer view of the pelicans that roost almost daily in front of Moonlight Magic, in addition to the herons, egrets, swans, ducks and geese.

But when I am not working, I enjoy the outdoors; including swimming, exercising at the gym, riding horses, walking, sitting on the beach and listening to the waves. I love living and being near the water. I like to read books and currently writing my own book. I love to meet new people. I mostly enjoy the quality time with my friends and family. I am adventurous and enjoy learning and trying new activities. When I have the time, I also love to travel. I have a Paso Fino horse, Quatro, which I enjoy riding when I am home. I recently started my business, Snake Island Properties, in November 2009. I have enjoyed the hard work and learning process of all the details to a business. I like challenges and prospering in all that I do everyday.
My family and I have been vacationing in this area for over 20+ years, enjoying the winter/summer fishing seasons each year on the Bay of Green Bay (Sand Bay) and camping at Jellystone Park, which is nearby. My family built a home in this neighborhood 10 years ago and have been permanent residents in the last 2 years. My parents have been suggesting for many years that I acquire property in their beautiful and quiet neighborhood in Door County, especially waterfront property, as it is only on rare occasions that this kind of property is 'For Sale' in the neighborhood. So when this property was listed 'For Sale' my parents suggested I consider this home. Since I am living half way across the world, I was able to see the pictures and take the recommendations from my parents. At first glance of the pictures, I knew that this was the ideal home, a quaint log cabin, where others could enjoy while on vacation. Plus, this was a perfect investment for my recently established business. As this has been one of my goals in life to have my own business where I can accommodate others and allow my guests to take pleasure in what I am offering; while always striving to do better!
Enjoy all four seasons at Moonlight Magic. The Door County area has year-round activites for all visitors of any interest. Moonlight Magic has the beautiful waterfront view and is located so close to the water, that the only sounds you will hear are of the waves hitting the shoreline. Since it is located on a point, you will find the local wildlife who make their home in the woods. The area is filled with birch trees and pine trees. Enjoy the 3 sand beaches which are within walking distance to Moonlight Magic. Take a walk or bike around the tree-lined loop and smell the nature of the trees and flowers in the morning (I find the morning is the best time to experience the natural surroundings of the area, as your 5 senses will be over-whelmed). You will notice the friendliness of the locals who will wave and greet you as you pass by. There is a fire pit for night-time enjoyment, as it is located near the water's edge, so you can enjoy the fire and listen to the waves at one sitting. Inside Moonlight Magic, we are continuing to acquire many books for the library, so you can enjoy some reading time. We have provided luxury bedding, bath towels, and bath soaps/lotions as an added pleasure. Moonlight Magic is complete with all new furnishings and electronics; including a flat screen tv, DVD, satellite TV and wireless internet. I have fully enjoyed selecting the interior furnishings for Moonlight Magic, as I selected all the furnishings as if I were a guest looking for comfort, excellent quality, and convenience. I have some decorations, such as the window treatments, which I had specially made in Abu Dhabi, UAE and carried half way across the world to Moonlight Magic. You will find other treasures, which I brought back with me, from my travels around the world, which are placed in Moonlight Magic. My main priority at Moonlight Magic is to make my guests feel special and have memories which will last a lifetime.
