Had a great time here, but house is very basic

The listing was 100% accurate. It is described as budget, and I was expecting a simply furnished house decorated as a rental, not a home, as depicted in the photos. I was not expecting it to be lacking in basic necessities like towels. I called the owner (who was responsive and agreeable) and she pointed out that amenities showed linens provided, towels were not listed. Ok, but come on, give us a head's up-who packs towels? We were there with 6 adults and 2 small children and it took half the first day figuring out where to go then driving to buy towels. The layout and size of the house were perfect for us and with a few "niceities" like end tables and lamps in the bedrooms it would get another star. It was our first time in Charlotte and we enjoyed it very much-especially the Lazy 5 Ranch, Freedom Park and Discovery Center. We also went to Reedy Creek Park twice for the playground and walks by the lakes. We had good meals at Zapata's, Cowfish, a nearby Thai restaurant and Brixx Pizza, and take-out from Bojangles.
