I stayed in this vacation home for 9 nights. It was perfectly clean upon check in, and is furnished as if it were someone's private home, and not intended for renting. Luxurious bed coverings, plenty of towels and linens; hot tub on the back deck, and a beautiful entertainment room. The shuffleboard table and wet bar were utilized nightly. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances; honestly the only thing we didn't have was a KitchenAid mixer! (but there are hand beaters). For you chefs out there, there is more than adequate counter space. We created a gourmet meal every night without difficulty.
The owner was more than accommodating and very responsive to our needs. The stream running through the property is absolutely charming. Access to several Tahoe Donner trails is literally across the street. Located on a very quiet road but is within several miles of shopping areas. We were easily able to vacation at the home without feeling like we "needed to get out of the house and go somewhere." I will most certainly rent this beautiful Tahoe Donner home again in the future!
