About The Owner

My name is Jeff. This is my wife Robin and myself halfway up Sierra Blanca mountain January of 2009. It was our first trip to Ruidoso and we had a blast - so much so that we came back with a condo :) We both teach and coach, and live in Flower Mound, Texas

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009
Why The Owner chose Ruidoso

Never thought I would buy property unexpectedly, that was until I found this diamond in the rough. Skiing in the winter, horse racing in the summer, along with golf, hiking, fishing, mountain biking - and casinos and shopping year round... and museums, performing arts theatres, etc. And it's close enough to drive from Texas - so... yeah :)

What makes this condo unique

Honestly, it just seems to be the perfect place. It's located in the middle of town right off Mechem. Popular restaurants and hangouts are right next door. Mid-town is within walking distance as well. The view of the Sacramentos is incredible and deer come down next to the condo and relax in the shade several times a week.

Fun for the Family

I had never been to Ruidoso before this trip. It is a great town and The Lodge at Lookout Manor is in a great location. It was a family trip, 2 adults, 2 kids. We enjoyed the board games at the house and it was great to be able to make a few meals in the kitchen. It was very, very cold the days we were there, and the condo was warm and cozy, especially with the wood burning fire place! I would definitely recommend this condo for families!

Excellent Rental Experience

Our family of 5, parents with 3 twenty-something kids had a great Christmas while staying here. The condo is just as described with plenty of room for 5 adults. The kitchen is stocked with lots of amenities and the "Welcome" gift bag was very nice. We appreciated the firewood provided and the Dish DVR so we could record movies and shows and watch them later. A great location and a great price!

This is our second time to stay at the condo, but our first during the winter. The condo is centrally located with easy access to many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. We spent two days skiing at Ski Apache. Jeff and Robin have made sure that you enjoy all the amenities of home. The condo was very spacious and clean. We were able to enjoy the fire at night while playing family board games or watching movies. We also ate many of our meals together at the condo. We will definitely stay again!

Nice stay

We brought our 4 young adult children to the mountains for the holidays. Not enough snow to ski but we really enjoyed cooking, playing games, watching movies, and shopping. The condo was really clean and had everything we needed for a great family time together. Communication from the owner was super prompt and informative. Will stay again!

This was the second time we have stayed at the condo while elk hunting. It is spotless. Mattresses are excellent, everything is first quality. We look forward to staying again.
