The main house is 5000 sq. ft. with multiple French doors opening out onto 4500 hundred feet of gorgeous flagstone terraces. There is a beautiful cement balustrade railing surrounding the vineyard side of the terrace. Vineyard views from this terrace are breathtaking, which also include the swimming pool and tennis court down below. This is where you can really capture the magnificent space surrounding you. There's an old limestone fountain directly off the rear of this terrace near the entry to the master bedroom which also has a large outdoor wood fireplace with seating area, plus table/umbrella and chairs. A perfect place for that late afternoon book to read and glass of wine. Past the fountain and rose garden there is a Bocce Ball court beneath the shade of old Oak trees.
Entering the inside of the Villa from the front door, one feels the size of the rooms immediately! Straight ahead is the living room with exceptionally high ceilings, an enormous fireplace and mantel. Further beyond is an elegant dining room which can seat 12 people. The floors have large glazed clay tiles throughout the house which have radiant heat. With its many French doors surrounding the rooms, it brings the outside in. There are 2 entrances from the living room to the gourmet kitchen which is 45 ft. long, with high ceilings, fireplace and den. Adjacent to the kitchen is another foyer with a back door entrance from the courtyard. This room houses the laundry closet, and a full guest bath. From this hall you would enter a seperate closet to a stairwell that goes up to the loft. This is a large comfortable bedroom with a queen size bed, large desk, dresser with night stand, and flat screen TV. The entrance to the master bedroom quarters is also in this vicinity. There is a large master bath, separate double head shower, and a separate room with toilet. The walk in closet is large, open, and airy. Breathtaking views are reminiscent of a Maxfield Parish painting! Besides fresh eggs, we also have our own Crystal Springs well water which is absolutely the best tasting water out of the tap! During the summer months there is an abundance of fruit from our many fruit trees. We also have a vegetable garden which include tomatoes and fresh basil.
