This spectacular vineyard estate is 10.3 acres of absolute splendor located in the heart of the Napa Valley wine region. The ambiance of country living couldn't get any better as we are directly off the Silverado Trail in a rural area that includes some of the top wineries minutes away from our front doorstep! We are 5 minutes to downtown St. Helena, 3 minutes from Meadowood Country Club and golf course. 8 minutes to Calistoga, and only 30 minutes to the city of Napa or over the hill to Santa Rosa.
The house is 12 years old Tuscan Villa style home with Mediterranean foliage and landscaping. Besides the sweeping vineyard view from the terrace, the natural and planted landscaping has several gardens, fruit trees, olive trees, roses, and lush green lawns surrounding the property. There is also a vegetable garden to add fresh vegetables to your dinner plate or salad.
The main house is 5000 sq. ft. with multiple French doors opening out onto 4500 hundred feet of gorgeous flagstone terraces. There is a beautiful cement balustrade railing surrounding the vineyard side of the terrace. Vineyard views from this terrace are breathtaking, and include the 80 ft swimming pool. There's an old limestone fountain directly off the rear of this terrace near the entry to the master bedroom which also has a large outdoor wood fireplace with seating area, plus table/umbrella and chairs for reading or enjoying a glass of wine. Past the fountain and rose garden there is a Bocce Ball court beneath the shade of old Oak trees.
The main house features a living room with exceptionally high ceilings, an enormous fireplace and mantel with bookshelves full of art, sculptures and books. Further beyond is an elegant dining room which can seat 12 people comfortably. The floors have large glazed clay tiles with radiant heat. The entire house has newly installed central air & heat to keep you comfortable all year round.
The gourmet kitchen features high ceilings, wolf stove, TV, a fireplace and a small den. Adjacent to the kitchen is the courtyard with outside dining, a fountain, rose/herb garden, and a large charcoal BBQ. Off the kitchen is the laundry area and the full guest bath. Also, from this hallway is the entrance to the loft up a ladder of stairs. The loft features a large comfortable bedroom with a queen size bed, large roll top desk, dresser with night stand, and flat screen TV. The entrance to the master bedroom quarters is also in this vicinity. There is a large master bath, separate double head shower, and a separate room with toilet. The master bedroom has an impressive 30 ft. ceiling, beautiful beautiful carved wood poster bed, wood fireplace, with 2 French doors that go out to the terrace where another fireplace is on the back side of the one in bedroom with outdoor rod iron seating.
The Guest House entry is located off this courtyard upstairs above the garage. This very comfortable 1600 sq. ft. apartment has 2 spacious bedrooms, full bath, full kitchen with brand new top of the line appliances, and living room. All windows have great views of the vineyard, and the horses graze right outside during the day on hillside.
This is the ultimate destination for peace and quiet. Breathtaking views abound! Besides fresh eggs, we also have our own Artesian well water which is absolutely the best tasting water out of the tap! During the summer months there is an abundance of fruit from our many fruit trees. We also have a vegetable garden which include tomatoes, peppers, and fresh basil. Help yourself!

We are located in the very heart of Wine Country. Crystal Springs Road is directly off the Silverado Trail and is perfect for walking, hiking, jogging, and biking. Calistoga and St. Helena are both just 8 minutes away.

It is very picturesque with the many colorful trees and mountain views surrounding the property. This area has very rich soil and is on a hill making it perfect for Cabernet grapes. It also has a lot of Black Obsidian, thus the name nearby 'Glass Mountain'. The climate is perfect for the vineyard. Some of the best wine comes from this region.
Total privacy and very quiet, flowers abound, fantastic views, nice big pool for daily exercise and cooling off. We love the wide open rural spaces, lush vegetation and plenty of room for the horses to play.

|Notes||Rates are $550-$650 per nt for guest house only through June 21, 2014, and available again September 1. Summer rental rate for the entire estate (main house & guest apt sleeps 10 persons) is $1500 per night, monthly rental discounted $32,000 a month.
2 BDRM Apt Rate is $550 per night for use of master BDRM only, or $650 per night for use of both bedrooms. This unit sleeps 4 persons comfortably.
