CELEBRATE WITH US - SAUGATUCK NAMED 4TH COOLEST SMALL TOWN IN AMERICA BY BUDGET TRAVEL!!!
Enjoy all that Saugatuck has to offer from the comfort of our beautiful condominium! We are located right in town on Water Street, directly across the street from the Star of Saugatuck Paddleboat and the River Market (perfect for picking up a picnic lunch or morning coffee!)
Our spacious three-bedroom condominium has views of the Kalamazoo River from our front porch and from our second floor deck. We are located right in town within two blocks of restaurants, art galleries and shops. We are three blocks from Wick Park and the historic Saugatuck Chain Ferry. We are a five minute drive to Douglas Beach and Oval Beach on Lake Michigan! Or you can take the Chain Ferry across the River and bike or walk to the nearby museum or Oval Beach.
We are very near many places in town to dock your boat, such as Ship n Shore, Singapore Yacht Club and Coral Gables, or you can launch it right across the street from our condo at the public boat launch in Saugatuck. Pontoon, kayak, scooter and bike rentals are available right across the street (we have several bikes available for use in our garage as well).
Our condominium is extremely spacious and decorated as a Tommy Bahama-style island retreat! The very best thing about the condominium, in addition to its location and the really fun decor throughout, is that we have three large and very private bedroom suites, each with full bathroom. The first floor includes a guest suite with queen bed, walk-in closet, TV, full bath with shower, and full-size washer/dryer. The third floor includes the master bedroom suite (king bed and TV) and another complete guest suite (queen bed). Each has a full bath (the master has a bathtub/shower and the guest suite has a shower). This ensures plenty of privacy for each guest!
We have password-protected WIFI available throughout the condo (password provided at condo), and Comcast Xfinity cable (living room, first floor guest suite and master suite). We have a nintendo wii game counsel with controls and games (living room), plus a large library of DVDs and CDs for you to enjoy during your stay.
The condominium's second/main floor is an open-floor living space with blonde bamboo floors throughout. The living space has a large sectional with attached chaise, fireplace, TV and DVD player. The sectional pulls out into a queen sleeper, and there is an adjacent chaise lounge. There is one deck off the front living space with bistro table and chairs, and one deck off the rear kitchen with patio chairs.
This main floor also includes a dining area with a large dining table and six dining chairs (there are extras in the garage), a full kitchen with separate bar seating for three, and guest bath. The kitchen includes all modern appliances plus Starbucks coffee, slush machine, popcorn popper, popsicle trays, nice linens, grill tools, table service and barware.
There is parking located behind the condo with a dedicated space for our unit at the foot of the garage; there is also a lot of free street parking right in front of our condominium on Water Street. There is a front yard where kids (or adults!) can play, and two parks located within several blocks of our condo, as well as tennis and basketball courts.
Whether you are coming to town for a family reunion (we host ours every July), quiet getaway, spa or golf weekend, you will be really comfortable and have a great time here. We have a guestbook highlighting all area attractions, as well as our own recommendations on the best places to visit!
We provide DVDs, CDs, and games for kids and adults (but please note: NO PETS.) The garage is well stocked with bicycles, outdoor games, beach chairs, beach toys, tons of sports equipment and an electric air pump -- good for the beach toys! We provide for weekly (or longer) rentals in the summer months when we are not using the condominium, making it available to families who will respect it as if it were their own and who will enjoy all that Saugatuck offers.

Ann Marie Uetz grew up in Detroit and has spent the last fifteen summers in Saugatuck. She is Vice-Chair of the Bankruptcy Group at the national law firm Foley & Lardner LLP, an AmLaw50 firm, where she specializes in NextGen manufacturing and supply chain matters, as well as bankruptcy and distressed real estate and C&I loans.
We love spending time in Saugatuck and get to our condo at least once a month all year long. Saugatuck is a great town with cool people (see above note regarding Coolest Small Town in America designation!) and that is why we love it so much. We enjoy reconnecting with our Saugatuck friends whenever we can. Our condo has a lot of space so we can host family and friends for quick getaways or longer vacations. We love that it is halfway between Detroit and Chicago -- we can get to downtown Chicago in two hours and ten minutes!
We absolutely love all of the restaurants in Saugatuck and Douglas! Everyday People (Douglas) and Wick's Park (Saugatuck) are our favorite dinner locations; The Butler is great for a large group dinner and for kids, and overlooks the lake; Mermaid is great for lunch and is right on the docks at the river; the Annex and Uncommon Grounds are great coffee shops, and the Annex turns into an amazing piano bar at night! The White House has the best live music in town. Wally's is a great spot to watch sports or for lunch (great burgers for kids!) We are within two blocks of art galleries and unique shops and near the most beautiful beach in the midwest for sure, and possibly the country (Conde Naste named Oval Beach one of the top ten public beaches IN THE COUNTRY a few years ago.)
Sand Dunes (Dune Buggy Rides), Star of Saugatuck Paddleboat is right across the street, walk to movies during the Waterfront Film Festival, Oval Beach (one of Conde Naste's Top-Rated Public Beaches), Town of Douglas is nearby, Fourth of July and Venetian Festival Parade and Fireworks, Art Fair, Winery (Fennville)
