About Audrey

We first visited the mountains on our Honeymoon & For several years we Vacationing in the Smokey Mountains, and always dreamed of having our own cabin in the mountains. Once we discovered Blue Ridge, Georgia. We set on making that dream a reality. Just a short drive from all the hustle & bustle of the tourist

area's, we searched for our escape, after several trips to Blue Ridge and 5 yrs later searching for our Dream Cabin. We purchased

1.5 Acres that offered privacy & tranquility yet close to town and offered Spectacular Views. We began construction immediately in January 2003, September 2003 on our 20th Wedding Anniversary Dreamers Den was complete. Located on Dream Catcher Mountain

& it being a long time dream it was only fitting that we named the cabin 'The Dreamers Den'. We also felt compelled too share our Dream & piece of paradise with others as so many have shared with us over the years. The wonderful comments & feedback is truly heartwarming. Sharing this special place with others brings us more joy than we could have ever imagined

The cabin exceeded the description and photographs on the website. It is beautifully appointed and in a wonderful location. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, pool table and ping pong nightly. We will definitely recommend this cabin to our friends and family. I personally loved picking the wild blackberries that are growing all along the road up to the cabin and I walked every single morning around the loop which is a good strenuous walk with beauty everywhere. It is near everything, ziplining, fishing, hiking and whitewater rafting. We truly enjoyed Amicalola Falls State Park and the Swan Drive-in Theatre. The Village Restaurant was a favorite and Mercier Orchards was a treat. The drive into the cabin is quite steep which our six cylindered vehicle struggled with but I don't think most vehicles would have any problems with it. I can't wait to return and to get relaxed and rejunvenated again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

The description was accurate and lived up to its expectations. Very clean and well maintained. Yes, I would recommend this property for rental. There were excellent restaurants to chose from, plenty of grocery stores to shop in, lots of hiking to do, horseback riding was available and enjoyed by my family, and the Scenic Blue Ridge Railway was relaxing and enjoyable. The view from the mountain top was worth the drive up every time.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
