House, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 5)

Beautifully renovated 3 bedroom home with 3 full bath. House has private backyard with 8 cherry trees and extra large deck with gas BBQ, dining and sitting area. DECK HAS 5 PERSON HOT TUB! Also there is a outdoor shower.

The inside of the house has been completely renovated with all new kitchen applicances, stereo system, direct TV, wireless internet, AC and washer/dryer. The kitchen comes equipped with all the modern gadgets you could want.

The house is located just minutes to the town of Hudson, Amtrak train station, Olana, Bard College, and Thomas Cole's home. It is also not far from many other national historic sites. Amazing views of the catskill mountains and hudson river (River is seasonal).

Just 30 minutes to 3 major ski resorts. Tons of places for swimming, hiking and kayaking as well. Prices will depend on the time of year, number of guests and length of stay. Please email owner for rates and availability. Secuirty deposit required and credit cards accepted.

Owner also interested in possibly alternating weeks/weekends and major holidays for long term rental or full season rental share situation as well.

I fell in love with the area because of the people, beautiful sunsets and history. The town of Hudson has a peaceful and inviting feel to it. There is tons of things to do all of the time.

What makes this house unique

The property offers the best of both worlds. You will find a private yard which backs up to a land conservancy while just be 2 miles outside the town of hudson. The house is on a quiet cul-du-sac and on Mount Merino known for amazing view of the Hudson River, Catskill Mountains and Hudson/Athens historic Lighthouse.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

I stayed at this house in Hudson with my husband and we had a wonderful time. The house was immaculate and perfectly maintained, and had all the conveniences we needed for the weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, and is even more lovely than it appears in the photos. It is perfectly located just a short drive from town, and the surrounding area is very scenic.

The town of Hudson is a gem with great shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful historic district.

I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a cozy place to spend a weekend in the country.

Perfect retreat

Having rented the house on multiple weekends over two years, I can say it's the perfect upstate retreat. Everything is impeccably maintained, clean and orderly. We enjoy grilling on the deck, cooking in the kitchen, reading in the backyard and being able to get to Hudson in under ten minutes. The views are great.

Lovely!

This place is perfect. A little bit country, but not too much... all the comforts of home! It's off a quiet road (good for bike riding), very private, and about 3 minutes from downtown Hudson, Olana, and the bridge to the Catskills. It's an impeccably renovated spacious ranch with a huge deck overlooking a wide lawn (plenty of room for badminton), lush trees, and woods. The sunsets are spectacular, the hot tub and outdoor shower awesome. You're well situated to explore towns in all directions, but you might just want to hunker down at the house, cook on the grill, and relax with a book. We can't wait to try it in all seasons. The owner is welcoming, responsive, and super nice. Enjoy!

Impeccable -- highly recommended!

What a wonderful, extremely clean and well appointed home. We've stayed in several rentals in the area and this is one of the very best, and certainly the cleanest, which goes a long way with me. Marty went above and beyond in his prompt correspondence and attention to detail. The hot tub is lovely. The wood burning stove is lovely, all-n-all just a charming home in a great location. Private, but close to happening downtown Hudson. Thanks Marty for a great weekend. We'd love to come back!

Beautiful house in great location!!

This charming house has all the amenities one could ask for and is in a great location. The house was decorated really well and tastefully and was stocked with everything one could ask for. Great yard and deck made for relaxing times outside and the modern kitchen made meal prep a snap. Will definitely want to come back at some point. Thanks!!
