The apartment is a non-smoking environment. Weekly rate 1000 euros, 1750 for 2 wks, 2000 for 3 weeks, 2480 for 1 mth and 2380 for over 1 month (3 months max)
The neighbourhood: Our apartment is located in the middle of the Village d'Aligre in the heart of Paris, minutes away from Place de la Bastille in the 12th arrondissement. An authentic and vibrant Parisian residential neighborhood. The Village d’Aligre is famous for its daily food market and its numerous and diverse gourmet shops, bakeries, bistros and restaurants. It houses the Marché d'Aligre, one of the largest and most popular outdoor marketplaces in Paris, and a two-minute walk from our apartment. This is an authentic Parisian gathering place where local residents shop and meet friends for lunch, a cup of coffee, or a glass of wine.
La Coulée Verte (eight-minute walk) is constructed on an elevated former railroad, It is a five-kilometer long sanctuary where Parisians go jogging, read a book, or meet up with friends, and a unique place to see the city from a completely different angle. Place de la bastille is 10 minutes away on foot, and the Marais 15 minutes
the apartment: Our spacious one-bedroom apartment is conveniently located just around the corner from the famous Marché d'Aligre and very close to the historic Place de la Bastille. It is housed on the fifth floor of a 19th century Haussman-style building. The building has an elevator, and the entrance is secured with an electronic pass system and interphone.
The apartment is immaculate and bright, and offers an unobstructed view of the skies and landscapes of the city. It was thoroughly renovated in 2010. It is our Parisian pied-à-terre when we visit Paris (we live in the south of France.) The apartment is uncluttered but has a personal feel -- we leave our books, art catalogs, Paris guides, CDs and DVDs for our guests’ enjoyment. Our excellent and very reliable cleaning lady will provide weekly cleaning services at no cost. The apartment is a non-smoking environment and we do not accept pets. The windows are very large and easy to climb on and therefore the apartment is not suitable for children
Wir haben im Juli 2014 11 Tage in der wunderschönen Wohnung verbracht. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön, die Wohnung gemütlich. Die Lage der Wohnung war für mich als Hobbykoch ideal. Hervorragend der Markt (jeden Tag, außer Montag) und die vielen besonderen Geschäfte (Metzger, Fischgeschäfte, Bäcker, Käseläden, Weinhandlungen) es ist alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Vermieterin Jaqueline hat immer schnell geantwortet und war uns eine große Hilfe. Gerne kommen wir wieder in diese tolle Wohnung
We loved staying in Jacqueline's immaculate and welcoming apartment. Everything was
new, extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious, for a Paris apartment. You can find
fresh fruit and vegetables and all kinds of foods and the same block. The market is
wonderful. The best croissants in Paris are nearby at Ble Sucre as well as perfect bistros.
We were delighted with the week's experience and would not hesitate to return. The
owner, Jacqueline, is extremely responsive, professional, and helpful.
We spent 10 days in Jacqueline's extremely well presented apartment. We found it to be quiet, cosy, comfortable and ideally located. A well equipped kitchen with all appliances made for easy self catering, along with close proximity to the market and excellent food & wine shops. Information was provided on local services, restaurants etc and the library included a 2013 volume of a travellers guide to Paris. We used the Metro daily, being a 5 minute walk away, or the Vlib hire bikes located across the street. Jacqueline responded promptly to emails and provided excellent directions to locate and access the apartment. We most enjoyed the opportunity to share the experience of Parisians fortunate enough to live in this friendly neighbourhood.
We sought a Parisian neighborhood experience and had very high expectations. We stayed for 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Years Holiday. The description and reviews suggested that this apartment would be the ideal fit for us, offering all the comfort and convenience we wanted. It did not disappoint in any way, and was absolutely perfect. The apartment was secure, very clean, had all high-end appliances, and a large comfortable bed. Its location was just a 5 minute walk to the Metro, and a10 minute walk to Bastille. The Monoprix is a very good market (5-minutes walk), but we enjoyed the numerous boulangeries (you can see three of them from the window) and the wonderful markets, shops, and wide variety of restaurants all within a couple blocks of the apartment. All of the major attractions of Paris are a short Metro ride away. This was not our first visit to Paris, and we wanted an alternative to the typical tourist hotels. This apartment and the neighborhood far exceeded our expectations in every way. The owner was a delight to work with, and very responsive. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience a great apartment in a wonderful Parisian neighborhood.
Bellissimo appartamento in un delle zone più esclusive di Parigi, a due passi dalla metro Ledru-Rollin e a 5 minuti dall'Opera Bastille. Quartiere incantevole e silenzioso con tutti i servizi a portata di mano, ristoranti di qualsiasi etnia, minimarket, mercato, pasticcerie, cinema, centro fitness ecc. La casa è così come in foto, molto accogliente, ottime rifiniture, ampie vetrate, luminosa, spaziosa e dotata di tutti i comfort come indicati nell'annuncio. La proprietaria, Jacqueline, è molto disponibile e comunque le istruzioni da lei fornite per il Wifi, per la modalità d'accesso all'appartamento e quant'altro, sono semplici e chiare. La mia permanenza in questa abitazione è stata di oltre un mese e non si è presentato mai il minimo problema.
Per i futuri soggiorni a Parigi sicuramente tornerei in questo appartamento e comunque lo consiglierei a famigliari e amici per una vacanza in questa splendida città.
We spent a month in this wonderfully decorated apartment, and it was very comfortably furnished, spotlessly clean with lots of room to relax, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook. The ambiance was classically period with polished wooden floors, high ceilings with crown moldings, and large windows that were double-paned for sound proofing--although we had them open most of the time, because…well, it’s Paris!
The owner, who speaks excellent English and was extremely helpful, furnished great written instructions for the modern appliances, as well as great suggestions for things to see and do. There were lots of books, DVD’s and CD’s to fill our down time.
This great neighborhood has lots of restaurants, shops and hidden gems. We often frequented the outdoor market around the corner and the terrific Italian restaurant just down the street. Close proximity to several metro stations and bus stops didn’t prevent us from walking the short distances to the Seine and to the Marais.
This apartment perfectly fit our needs, and quickly felt like home. We’ve already booked it again for next year!
