Summer, hiking, golfing and biking:
The holiday region of Lenzerheide-Valbella is a year-round hiking region - from easy paths to alpine tours, there is something for everyone. The tourism board is very active and offers guided hikes and tours. You can also discover the wonderful alpine landscape yourself. The year-round operation of cable cars allows all variations of mountain hiking up to climbing. For mountain biking, there are different routes from Spring to Fall ranging from easy to difficult. At the foot of the Rothorn you can go swimming and diving - there is a large swimming area.
Winter:
A special experience is the different options for sledding, on the traffic-free streets or on our own sledding path next to the ski slopes. Those who prefer not to be athletic can ride through the wonderful winter landscape on a horse carriage. An ice rink is available for ice skaters. For beginners and children, there is a wide offer of skiing and snowboarding courses. With good snow, you can get onto the slopes directly from the house and descent back to the house. The closest chair lift (Tiantieni) is 5 minutes away by car. From here, you can get into the ski region of Lenzerheide/Valbella.
Cuisine and wellness:
In Lenzerheide-Sporz, 5 minutes from the chalet, you will find an original Maiensäss village. In lovely restored farmhouses you will find an exquisite 4 star restaurant where you can enjoy brunch or a fine evening menu. The city of Lenzerheide offers a wide range from simple to sophisticated restaurants so that there is something there for every taste and wallet. The sport center in Lenzerheide has a swimming pool and a sauna, in the hotel Schweizerhof you will find an excellent wellness area with Ayurverdic massages. There is a wide range of massage and cosmetic offers in Lenzerheide.
Ski:
With the snow-guaranteed Rothorn (2,863 m above sea level), the Stätzerhorn and Scalottas, the skiing region offers skiers and snowboarders around 155 km of well connected slopes of all difficulties. A specialty is night skiing on special days. The region around Heidsee in Lenzerheide and the surrounding area invites you to go cross country skiing and hiking on well-kept trails. During the winter, you can get directly from the house to the ski lift and you can descent directly to the house. The ski region offers beginners a good practice slope and offers experienced skiers fantastic, diverse descents that are in a very well-kept condition.
Golf:
You have the choice between two golf courses. In Lenzerheide you will find an interestingly designed 9 hole golf course, about 10 minutes from the house by car. In Alvaneu you will find a new 18 hole golf course in a beautiful location, which can be reached in a 20 minute drive. The course is located in the Albula valley with a view of the surrounding mountains and was first finished in 2004 and is receiving increasing popularity. Here you will see an extraordinarily cared for and imaginative golf course. The newly built thermal spa Alvaneu with its attractive outdoor spa offers pure relaxation and wellness with a wide variety of physio therapeutic treatments.
