Reproduction antique Cape Cod house is centrally located in the heart of the traditional, lobstering community of Round Pond. An accurate reproduction of an historic home located in Massachusetts, the house was built in the 1970's with all the charm of an old home but has all the modern amenities and comforts. Just outside the door is Round Pond Harbor with working lobstering boats as are boat/kayak launching ramps, fishing, crabbing and swimming from the dock. Afterwards, walk over to and stop in at the Granite Hall, the general store, for ice cream, penny candy and local gift items. Also, plan to walk the ocean shoreline and hunt for treasures in the peaceful and quiet tidal pools.

We spend as much time as possible in Round Pond for family vacations but as our children have gotten older and much busier, we cannot get to Round Pond as much as we used to.
Round Pond is a very traditional lobstering community where visitors can experience the best that Maine has to offer - a fabulous community, great seafood, outdoor and water-related activities and absolutely beautiful surroundings. If you are here on the Fourth of July, don't miss the parade!
When we are lucky enough to be here, we spend much of our time right in Round Pond. We like to fish, crab, swim and boat but find time each day to relax on the deck or down on the harbor docks just enjoying the beauty of Round Pond.
