Mi favorite Northern Spot is Mi Northern Addiction!!

My family and I have had the pleasure of renting Mi Northern Addiction in both the cold and warm weather seasons. Northport is a hidden treasure of natural beauty which offers a peaceful setting for the outdoor adventurer but also is convenient to excellent dining, unique waterfront shopping and quaint up north spots.
The hosts were very accomodating, the blue house is charming, comfortable, clean and equipped with all the necessary conveniences. The view of the lake is spectacular from the deck on the house and the beachfront campfires are what memoires are made of. I have young boys who like to swim if you are planning on swimming in the back be sure to bring your water shoes to protect your feet from the zebra mussels. If you prefer a sandy beach with tennis courts and play park you can walk to the private association beach down the street, or you can check out the three other association beach spots within 1 mile of the house. As a renter you are allowed access to all of these groomed areas. The residents are very welcolming to all. If you prefer the woods there is about 3 miles of walking/running trails within a few steps outside of your door.
Don't forget about the 17 local wineries up the M-22 Penninsula, the local downtown areas of Northport (have to go to Stubbs to eat), Leland & Fishtown, Suttons Bay (Roman Wheel Pizza), Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor and of course Traverse City.
This property exceeded our expecations and will be our return to spot for years to come.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your response on the shells on our beach as I always try to make sure everyone who visits remembers to bring watershoes. There is a marvelous sand beach just off Densmore Rd. by the airport. It's a 0.2 mile easy hike to get to the beach, but this sugar sand, Lake Michigan beach is well worth it.
