YOUR RELAXING TOTALLY PERFECT BEACH VACATION

i've been vacationing in Governor's Harbour for the last 16 years. The last two years I've stayed for 5 weeks at Bella Luna. The house is fully appointed, comfortable and has all the comforts of home. The beach is thirty steps from the house and is great for sunbathing, picnics, exercise, swimming, fishing and kayaking. You're on the main road that connects all the towns and about a mile from the downtown area of Governor's Harbour. Every day you can venture out and see something different, walk through a neighboring town, go downtown to buy some just caught fish, go to the town's movie theatre, shop, eat at one of the local restaurants, walk the beaches, sign up for yoga classes, find a friend and walk the island every morning or afternoon for excellent exercise, join the library's book discussion group, attend an evening presentation at the library, see the underground caves, play cards with friends, go out for dinner, drinks and entertainment, collect sand dollars and shells, etc. My five weeks goes so quickly and is never long enough. If it's quiet and rest that you want, you've got it. If it's sightseeing you crave, you'll never run out of things to do to understand the culture of these Bahamians. You will be overwhelmed by the beauty of this place. The island is safe, the people are all friendly, and each visit just causes you to want to come back more. The Bahamians accept our dollars, so you don't have to worry about exchanging currency. I've made so many friends and look forward to seeing them every year. The showers (2) are big and probably nicer than what you have at home. There's a gas grill in the back yard. FIve gallon cold bottled water makes staying hydrated easy, although their water from the faucet is fine. The kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, etc., that you might need. The house is only a few years old and still feels like new. It's air- conditioned although since it's so well insulated I only had to turn it on once last time. Trevor and Linda are very caring owners who respect your privacy but at the same time sincerely will try to help you experience the best vacation possible. I got a lot of use out of the flat screen cable TV and wireless connection. So, don't fret, this is the real thing - a vacation you'll remember for the rest of your life.
