A charming log cabin sits on 4.5 acres in Temecula wine country. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic retreat. Start your morning in a hot air balloon over the vineyards, take golf lessons from a local PGA professional, tour the local wineries for wine tasting, and finish off your evenings on the deck of your retreat, enjoying the views and incredible starry nights.
The property is convenient for day trips to San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Palm Springs and just minutes from local wineries, golf courses and Pechanga Casino.
We are cousins and moms of multiple children with special needs who were desperately in need of some R&R. We wanted someplace close, yet rustic and seemingly "cabin-y." This fit the bill...super clean, quiet, well-stocked and close to shopping, wineries, etc. To be able to sneak away, not too far, and talk, eat, rest, and relax was a tremendous gift and this was just the place to spend it.
We were planning on staying at South Coast Winery and discovered this little gem. We can not say enough great things about our stay. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The cabin is cozy and comfy! We were close to everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning and wine on the back porch in the evening so we could watch the rosy sunset. The cabin is set in a very relaxing, peaceful & beautiful place. It was very clean, had everything we needed & Troy was reachable to answer any questions. We enjoyed wineries, old town, family, friends and a hot air balloon ride the morning of our anniversary. We already have dates for our next stay & can not wait!
Great place for a our family to land for a wedding in wine country. Two adult children, parents and a teen all could find space to relax alone or hang out together. Thanks!
We could not have been happier with the darling log cabin accommodations! Even though we were there for work, we had a lovely stay and can't wait to go back next time for vacation and enjoy the winery's. Such a wonderful change from the hotels we normally stay in and not far from town. Feels rustic and secluded without being too far from all services. Highly recommend Troys cabin!
My friend and I came to Temecula for our annual girls trip. We'd never visited Temecula before and discovered a delightful gem! We went wine tasting one day, tasting at Wilson Creek and Ponte. Wilson Creek had lovely grounds, a great lunch and good wines, although some of the staff seemed a little grumpy. Ponte was a blast, good wines, a great place to make new wine-tasting friends and wonderful staff, who made you feel right a home. The next day we went to Old Town Temecula. It was lots of fun shopping, great music, interesting stores. We ate at an awesome restaurant, Parea, just off the main drag. Delicious Greek food and great staff. We wish Antoine, the owner, all the best. He's built a winner. Check it out! Now for the house. Troy didn't miss supplying a thing, and the cabin truly fit our needs. The porch was super relaxing, the bedrooms comfortable. The TV/upstairs lounge perfect for evenings. Finally, as a writer in the midst of composing a Civil War novel, the log house was perfect for ideas and setting a 'writing' mood. Thanks so much! Super clean too. I highly recommend this place.
Stayed for a month and loved the log cabin and wine country. Troy was helpful and was available for questions and fixed any items quickly. Loft area comfortable and lots of great scenry and critters.
