This is a three year old new build. It is located on the end of a dead end street right on Lake Michigan with gorgeous views of the Lake and the pier. Three lots down is a set of association stairs (135) leading down to a very private beach. Covered porches give you a wonderful view of the Lake all day long. There are four bedrooms, three with a queen bed and one with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds, and three and a half bathrooms. A 40 inch flat screen television with cable, along with a separate 'loft' area with a TV give adults and kids the opportunity to watch different channels. Linens and towels are included in the rental, along with a stocked kitchen. You will love the beauty of this cottage - perfect for two families!

We spent a week here and we didn't want to leave. The home was very nice, well equipped, and the owners were well organized.The pictures are a true testament of the home and the private beach access was great (and the stairs forced you to exercise!).The breeze from the lake was great; we didn't even use the air. Ludington is a great small town, everything we needed was in 15 minutes. We didn't experience any problems during our stay.

Relaxing Weekend on Lake Michigan bluffs

We had our family gathering (my wife and I, three daughters, husbands and grandchildren) near the end of May 2011 at the home located on the bluffs of Lake Michigan in Ludington. This is a newer home with plenty of room for the 8 adults and three young children in our family. The bedrooms were large, very clean, and each had a view of the lake. Being high up made the sunsets breathtaking from an open porch. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals so we did not have to leave. We had a great time and enjoyed the hikes to the beach and surrounding area.
