Our beautiful modern villa sits high up the hill on a secluded acre of terraced land in the area of Tiga Wasa, with panoramic views of the North Bali Sea, the lush green hillside and farmland. Features include 2 air conditioned bedrooms with private open-air showers, swimming pool and 3 full-time staff. Each bedroom also has a convertible chair that sleeps 1.
We are far enough up the hill to be away from the noise, traffic and tourists but still close (about a 10-15 minute drive to the beach, Lovina central restaurants and shops, the local market, etc.
We are a mountainside villa, and as such, the road is narrow and steep, partially paved, partially gravel. The condition varies by season. We recommend you use a local driver and car, unless you are comfortable driving such roads yourself.
The only time find we we need the A/C is set very low some nights in the bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private patio to read a book, relax or enjoy the view. There is a breakfast area just up from the house in the shade of one of the mango trees. Outside the living room there is a covered patio overlooking the pool where most meals are served (there is also an indoor dining area). We have installed outdoor speakers here. USB, CD, iPod, etc. can be used. Down the steps to the pool you will find a patio area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. To the east is a wood burning BBQ, a small fountain and pond.
We have wi-fi.
Ketut, Sumi and Kadek work full time at the villa and can be of assistance to you however you like. You will also have access to our local management company's help desk, where you can arrange transportation, your own car or motorbike rental, shopping, touring, etc.
The area in which the villa is located is rural. There are a few neighbors but overall it is very peaceful and quiet.
We are located in North Bali, about 3 hours from the airport. We can arrange transportation for you if you wish. The price will vary depending on number of people/required vehicle.
HomeAway has trouble with our rural address. Our Google Earth Coordinates are:

We went to Villa Tiga Wasa in september and the villa is just wonderful. The view i breathtaking and the standard at the Villa was the highest we experienced in our 1 month in Bali. It really is your own little paradise :)
The personal, Sumi and Kadek, is very friendly, professional and discrete.
Only little downside is the road up to the villa. It is pretty steep and the road is really bad, but it is no problem to drive up and down with a driver or on your own in a 4wd.
We were very excited to visit a new part of Bali and stay somewhere different.
The villa was all we hoped for.
The view was amazing. We had read about the wonderful staff, Sumi and Kadek and they certainly spoilt us.
The villa had everything you could possibly need and more. We loved the garden and can imagine after the rains it would look so much greener. How lucky were to holiday in mango season!
Our first drive up and up the hill to reach Tiga Wasa was a little worrying, but after that we loved it and began to take in the stunning views, the locals and the vegetation. It was a highlight!
My only criticism and perhaps with the excellent rates offered for the villa, I have no right, would be to update the towels, they were very sad.
We loved our stay, and so did our companions and know everyone would!
Thank you Chris.
Stayed for four outstanding weeks. The villa is all that is advertised and more. The staff were warm, helpful and a delight to have around. Sumi's cooking was a bonus - good and interesting meals.
Villa Tigawasa is ideal for the group that wants to be away from the craziness of the highly built up tourist areas, yet would like access to activities and restaurants. If you want a place where you can just chill out, this is perfect.
We rented a motorbike for much of the time we were there and it worked out fine for getting up and down the mountain, but be aware that it is a narrow steep road. The neighbors, all of whom were Balinese, were welcoming and friendly.
While there is no internet access at the villa, we found many restaurants in town with free wi-fi service, so had no problem keeping in contact when we wanted to - the beauty of the place is that you find yourself not feeling so compelled to keep in touch with that other world out there.
Communication and follow through with the owners was excellent. They truly seemed concerned that all went well during your visit, and it did.
Would recommend Villa Tigawasa without any reservations, as long as your perfect image of Bali is not Kuta.
We are a swiss family with two teenagers and stayed in Villa Tiga Wasa in august 2011. The villa is a paradise! We rented many houses all over the world before, but never got anything like this. The outdoorbathroom is the most wonderful place for showers that you can imagine. Also the pool is most beautiful, allthough quite small. The bedrooms however are very large with each a pirvate terrace. The view from the front of the house over palmtrees and the see on the horizon is unbelievable. The staff Sumi and Kadek are very nice, but you have your privacy, if you don't need them. We also liked the village of Lovina with many restaurants. The only point which might dislike is the 15 minutes drive from Lovina up a very steep and small street to the house. For the local drivers that is no problem and it's worth it. If we ever come back to Bali it will be to this place. Thank you once more Chris, Sumi and Kadek!
This Villa couldn't have been better. Chris was very helpful, answering any of our questions and giving suggestions for what to do around Lovina. Everything was exactly as the listing described, but better. It was very clean, and Sumi (the housekeeper) was the sweetest lady I have ever met. She would cook for us if we asked, and the food was EXCELLENT. (Make sure you try her banana pancakes!) She even brought us snacks or food after she had gone home. Also, Kadek, the gardener, was very helpful as well. He helped us with whatever we needed, whether we asked about the pineapples in the backyard or if we wanted a place to eat for dinner. He also helped out when we had a little accident on a motorbike. The villa would not have been half as great without the staff.
The area is awesome as well. Its about a ten minute drive to the beach, but the privacy is well worth it. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, but my favorites were the Bintang Bar & Grill and Zigiz Bar. The dolphin tour is a must see. Watch out around the dolphin statue, there are plenty of people that will try to sell you various things, and they are very persistent. (Don't say maybe later!)
Overall, it was a great place to stay. We also stayed in a villa near Seminyak. It was far more expensive and supposedly better, but I would choose Villa Tiga Wasa over it any day, and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation spot. Thank you Chris, Sumi, and Kadek for a great experience! We hope to see you again!
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Villa Tiga Wasa. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful and quiet location.
The villa is brand new and very modern and it is obvious that someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make it so comfortable. Both bedrooms are extremely spacious and situated at either end of the living space, so it would be perfect for 2 couples to share but have privacy. The bathrooms are enormous!
The pool is stunning and we spent many hours just hanging onto the infinity edge and looking at the incredible views to the sea in the distance.
You have quite a steep journey to get there but it is a fascinating one, passing beautiful scenery and seeing 'the real Bali', whilst still only being about 10 minutes from the main street and restaurants of Lovina.
We have been to Bali 5 times now, and this is one of the few places we have visited that we would love to return to. For once, the photos don't do the place justice and I would urge everyone to go and see for themselves.
Tiga Wasa is about 10-15 minutes up the hill from Lovina, the main north Bali tourist area. Here you can find snorkeling, diving, fishing, restaurants, shops, etc. 20 minutes east is Singaraja, the former capital of Bali. A little further and you will find waterfalls, volcanoes, golfing, hiking, palaces, temples, eco-tourism, gorgeous rice terraces, coffee and cocoa plantations. The beauty of Bali is the people, the culture, the low prices, and the fact it is a small island and you can get anywhere you want in 3 hours or so. Our villa boasts peace, quiet, privacy and tranquility, as well as gorgeous views. Enjoy your own pool rather than sharing it with all of the other guests at a hotel. Enjoy your own personal staff. And 10 minutes away are several fantastic restaurants and bars, the local market for fresh fruit and vegetables, ATMs, convenience stores, small supermarkets, etc. Our villa is the best of both worlds! Get away from the hustle and visit Tiga Wasa.
