LOG CABIN 4BD 3BA Hot Tub Pool Table Air Hocky River Fire Pit

Thanks Vic! We had a wonderful time at your cabin in the woods. We wanted a week to unwind with our three children (10, 8, and 6) and this was the perfect get away. We spent our days hiking and/or riding bikes on the Lehigh Gorge Trail (which is right out back), at Hickory Run State Park, and in Jim Thorpe (which is a nice/close drive.) The 4 bedrooms were big, clean, and the beds were comfortable. We were spoiled with three full bathrooms as well. We love to cook, and the kitchen appliances were certainly well maintained and of good quality. We enjoyed many meals at the very large dining room table. The kids loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit out front, and we also had a nice time in the hot tub! There was no need for ipods/ipads/laptops when we had nature right out our back door (the pool table and air hockey table and dvd players were a good distraction too!) We ended up bringing up all of our groceries from home--not knowing if there would be a quality grocery store close by. Note to self...next time we will shop up in the town center, as there was a good sized grocery store very close by with all of the necessities! We also managed to eat out at the diner for breakfast once, and my family is still raving about the crispy bacon, and over-sized pancakes, and perfectly toasted toast, etc. One night we went to the Powerhouse and we were surprised at how good the food was (again, we are foodies!) I will absolutely come back, both with the kids and also with pals--as it will be some time before my kids can ride the full trail, so I think we may need to plan an adult only gathering in the interim.
