Nice house for a stay in Gualala

The house was very nice, especially getting to sit in the living room and look out the large windows that had views of the ocean. It was also great to get to sit in the hot tub and see the ocean. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook all your meals.
A couple of issues that we had, but that are easily fixable: 1) The chimney really needed to be cleaned. We built a fire and it got pretty smokey in house. 2) On the day we were leaving, the cleaning service showed up at noon and said they thought we were supposed to be checked out by 11AM, although our rental contract said 1PM. The people we were renting the house with said this same thing happened to them last time they rented the house.
All in all a very nice stay at this house though.

We apologize for the intrusion from the housekeepers and your input was valuable for us to deal with this situaiton. As for the fireplace, it is cleaned on a regualr basis. Again, based on your input, we are making an addition to our check in instructions as you MUST open a door or window when starting any fireplace so the heat rises and draws fresh air from the outside. We look forward to having you as our guests again soon.
