Great view, hot tub, bubble tub, rainhead shower

Among the Texas Stars is a great little cabin located just a few miles from Fredericksburg and right in the heart of many of the Hill Country Wineries. Although private this little cabin is located just across the road from Among the Crepe Myrtles and a short walk to Among the Pecans. With all three properties a group of 18 people could stay on the whole property see our website for further details on the other listings. Over 300 acres surround the house, making it great for walking and enjoying nature. Being a working ranch guests will see horses and cattle during a stay.

This Texas Hill Country cottage has been created as a romantic getaway for two. A queen bed is the focal point in this one room cabin. The bathroom offers a bubble tub with rainhead shower. Plus there is a fully equipped kitchen with table and seating for four. The sofa is placed to enjoy the satellite television. Outside is a private deck with hot tub. There is also a fire circle and charcoal barbeque grill. The relaxing covered porch is great for watching the deer, cows and horses. Guests are welcome to walk down to the river for fishing (bring your own equipment). Your hosts have several activities available on the property including ping pong, Frisbee golf, and nature trails.

What makes this cabin unique

This property is located right in the middle of the 290 wine trails. It is just outside one of the cutest little German towns in Texas with shops and great restaurants. Among the Texas Stars is located on a 360 acre working ranch with a game barn that has a ping pong table and horseshoes. There is picnicking or fishing at the river which is about 1/2 a mile stroll. There is abundant wildlife to capture, along with horses and cows. The best part about this property is you can just sit on the front porch overlooking the hill country or soak up a little R&R in the hammock.

Excellent place to stay!!!

This the second time we stayed in this place,same as the first time,we had a great time!!!! The owner Monica was always there to help,on our second day,she brought us some homemade cinnamon rolls that was so ,so good. A lot of things that you can do inside the ranch, ping-pong, having picnic at the nearby river,petting the horses( which are so friendly),bon fire,etc.... The family that rented the other house said that it was also their second time coming there and so are the other guest.the owner doesnt just rent the place for the money, but more on letting their guest enjoy their stay. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a wonderful time at Fredericksburg.

OMG......I cannot believe how cute and perfect this little cabin is. My husband and I and another couple stayed in Among The Crepe Myrtles over Valentine's weekend, and he and I decided to extend our stay in Fredericksburg for an extra few days so we rented Among the Texas Stars. We are in love with this little cabin. ( today is actually March 4, 2013 and I am back again..for some down time before starting a new position) I love this place and all it's surroundings! The stars are so beautiful at night and last night I saw ALOT of wildlife running all around! I cannot wait til my next visit back to any of these properties. Monica is just wonderful!

AMAZING STAY

We had a wonderful time and absolutely adored the cabin. We will definitely be back and would recommend Among the Texas Stars to anyone, especially if you want privacy, nature, and most of all, ROMANCE. It has a private deck with 2 person hot tub, a great fire pit that we cooked over every night, and the cabin has anything you need. It was quaint and comfortable, and well maintained. The wild grape jelly and banana bread made by Monica were delicious! We enjoyed walking around the ranch and going down to the river. It was a great trip.

GREAT LOCATION!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Among the Texas Stars. We absolutely loved the place! As a matter of fact we tried to stay another night but it was already booked. The place is far enough out of town that you feel totally alone and in the "woods". But, close enough to town that anything you need is just a 10-15 minute drive into town. We never ate out at night because we so enjoyed sitting around the fire pit with a big 'ole fire going! We cooked steaks over the pit one night and decided it was the best steak we ever ate. Nothing like a steak over a mesquite fire. Our yellow lab loved roaming around in her new yard! She couldn't get enough of the hill country scents! My husband and I hope to come back next year. I highly recommend this place for a couple looking to get away from it all!

Very nice cabin! I love how the owners provide all the kitchen necessities and fresh baked goods. Great location. Close to all the wineries and a short drive into town. We will definately be back! Thanks for the wonderful get away.
