We live and work in the greater Hartford, CT area.
In the 1960s, we both vacationed with our respective large families at the Connecticut Shore and have many fond memories. When we decided to look for a little getaway, we wanted a place that would be easy to get to and easy to maintain. We found this little cottage that is only 45 minutes from our home. We saw that it was in good condition but was in need of some tender loving care. We have made many improvements since purchasing it, transforming it into a comfy and cozy cottage.
Our cottage has a clean and comfortable interior, as well as wonderful outdoor space, with its screened porch, large deck, and patio. The neighborhood is walkable and the beach is very close.
