PLEASE CALL TO RESERVE...This beautifully appointed, newly renovated, professionally decorated luxury home has wireless Internet, fully furnished kitchen, linens, and was built in 1900 and still has much of the charm of the era including the original staircase, woodwork and fireplaces. It has cable TV's in each bedroom as well as the big-screen TV in the living room, an eat-in kitchen nook that seats 4 as well as a formal dining room that seats an additional 6 guests. It has a luxury master suite. It has a DVD library, books and family games for your personal use. All the comforts of a 1900 sq ft home at the price of the average downtown hotel. It is located in a historic neighborhood currently in the process of being revitalized and restored. The home's location allows minutes access for business travelers or visitors to any of the local hospitals, businesses or UTC. You can enjoy all of the downtown and riverfront sites and activities quite easily.

Owner Description:: Year Purchased: 2010 - I grew up in Chattanooga and really enjoy coming back home so it seemed logical that I should buy a house there. There's so much for all four of my children to do there and so much to see and the location is so awesome that i couldn't resist!

This home is beautiful inside - the photos shown don't completely capture it. It was perfect for a weekend with extended family, 6 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant. It was immaculate and included additional amenities and nice touches, such as a small piece of candy on each bedside table. Kitchen was very well stocked, more than expected. We contacted the owner a few times and she answered the call each time and quickly addressed each comment. Two newly installed faucets weren't operating quite right, and the property manager arrived within an hour to fix the issue. Not only was he prompt, helpful and courteous, he also gave us suggestions for restaurants and activities! As mentioned by other reviewers, this home is in a diverse city neighborhood. We felt comfortable and safe, especially with the easy-to-operate alarm system. We enjoyed the variety of homes in the area and the proximity to downtown. I would highly recommend this property!

MAY WANT TO RESEARCH AREA BEFORE RENTING HERE

The good news: the house is lovely, well decorated and clean. The bad news: owner can be friendly and helpful but also ignores phones calls and emails at times. Not knowing the area (my first mistake) I invited five other family members to join me on a "girls getaway". The look of horror on the faces of my family members was heartbreaking. The neighborhood is not at all what we all expected. I would advise goggling the area before your visit. If I had the foresight to do this ahead of time I would not have rented in this area. We did make the best of it and had a good visit but I would not recommend this area.
Owner's Response: The area is a safe family area but the neighbors do not all keep up their homes as well as i do and the issue here is that the renters had a problem with the mixed ethnic diversity of the neighbors which is common in an area that is close to downtown. I cannot help the prejudices of certain renters so if a racially diverse population makes one uncomfortable you may want to find other accommodations or not come to Chattanooga at all as that is part of the culture here... The home is beautiful, well kept and clean and provides everything one could want in a vacation home...

Perfect Bridal Wedding Weekend Spot

We had our wedding at the Hunter Museum in Chattanooga and this home was the perfect place for me, my bridesmaids and their husbands to stay. The house was beautiful, in great shape, very clean and had all of the things you might need for a short weekend. We loved the home and the accessibility it provided to downtown, the Hunter and other Chattanooga attractions. We highly recommend this property and its sister property located just one block away. It was the perfect "his" and "her" wedding guest houses for our perfect weekend. The house was perfect for getting ready, beautiful photos and convenient to all of our venues. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home! I would recommend to any bride-to-be!

GIRLS GET AWAY!!

I rented this AMAZING HOUSE with a group of girls for my sisters last fling or freedom and the pictures do not do it justice. We felt like Princesses as we stayed here for the weekend. Jackie let me come in early to have it decorated for the girls arrival. The whole weekend we talked about the beautiful home and how close it was to downtown and how lucky we were to find it. Thanks so much for this perfect place, we loved it and we will return!
