Creole was designed by Scott Merill, who is also known for the Seaside Honeymoon Cottages and the Seaside Chapel.

Great location on Savannah Street with two bedrooms. Come experience a bit of N’awleans in a cozy, private cottage across from the Seaside Swim and Tennis Club and new Fitness Center. It is just a short stroll to the beach, tennis, and markets. Perfect for one or two couples or up to a family of five, this cottage has a living room with flat screen HDTV/Blue Ray, wood burning stove, dining area for five, internet service, fully equipped and newly updated stainless kitchen, a downstairs guestroom with bunk bed (a double on the bottom and single on the top), and a bath with a shower only. The private loft master bedroom offers a queen bed and half bath. All rooms offer Flat screen TVs throughout. The front porch has a swing with inviting Adirondack chairs for relaxation. Creole was designed by Scott Merill, who is also known for the Seaside Honeymoon Cottages and the Seaside Chapel. Seaside was on the list of Top 12 Destinations worldwide by Frommer’s 2010 and our property is part of the collection that received an 98% guest satisfaction score last season!

Why Sandpiper Gmail Brenda 1st chose Seaside

We were looking at a couple of cottages along the Beaches of South Walton. It was an easy decision after visiting Seaside. It is so cozy and comfortable here. They seemed to have captured the real community feel that the other communities cant match. Creole and Coquina are situated perfectly in Seaside. Right near the East Side Pool and Tennis Courts and a few minutes walk to the beach.

What makes this cottage unique

Seaside is so different than any other vacation spot, it’s the simplest pleasures which each day brings that are most important. It might be the the sunrise over the gulf waters that makes that day spectacular. In any case just being in Seaside around folks that are pleasant and happy is a blessing. You certainly have your own freedom to do what you want from shopping to dining to biking up and down 30-A to festival or special event.

December by the Sea

This charming Seaside cottage is just as wonderful in person as it is online. Everything about this cottage is welcoming, well stocked, and ideally suited for time at the beach. You can walk 4 minutes and be at your beachside pavillion complete with bathrooms and deck chairs or meander into town (3 blocks) for a delightful meal or shopping. I am 55+ and spent the whole month here and managed the entire visit without a car. I was able to walk or ride my bicycle everywhere I needed to go. Seaside is a fabulous destination and Creole is an absolutely delightful place to hang your hat while you are here. Rental agent was great to work with. If you choose this cottage you won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed the location very much. It is directly across from the fitness center and pool. Also working with the rental company was great. Two things you may want to know is the kitchen is perfect for what you need but there is not an oven but two toaster ovens. They worked out fine for all I needed them for during my stay but wish I had known and most likely i just did not research it well in the amenities information provided. Also two nice bathrooms but just one shower. The bathroom is large in size so it worked out fine and the bathroom on second floor was big as well. I would stay there again for sure because of location, price and how nice Matt was to work with when renting Creole. We are a family of 4 and this home works for about that size family. It had a nice waher/dryer set and welcoming front porch. The home was supplied with all your needs.

What a perfect cottage for us to unwind and enjoy a few days of quiet. A great location and perfect space for us. We will definitely stay here again. This was our second year renting from Sandpiper; they make the whole process so easy.

Great Location!

Location, location location... And Creole's definitely a winner here, since it manages to be close to EVERYTHING. The corner lot also offers some privacy. That being said, the small cottage is over-stuffed with furniture, with many chairs and side tables that don't have a purpose. Kitchen is nicely appointed, quality utensils, glassware and pots and pans. The dishwasher is doll-sized, so plan on running it every day. The upstairs loft is quite romantic, with really good lighting and ventilation. Large bath, but small shower to make room for the laundry room. Good quiet AC keeps house comfortable. The TV is an old-school CRT, but who goes to Seaside to watch TV?

Creole is now a regular part of our vocabulary. Our stay was perfect. The cottage is clean, functional, and well appointed. I called for assistance regarding a code I had forgotten and information gathering to which I received prompt accurate and courteous responses. I must state that my opinion may be a little biased since I asked my fiance to marry me on this trip. Thankfully the answer was a positive one as was our stay. As if our stay wasn't good enough my fiance lost a valuable ring on our stay. I emailed Creole management and received an email hours later stating they had found the ring and were mailing it back to us!
